Take the F+ Pledge With Me

I solemnly swear that I will no longer read/comment on the FP+ debate/complaint threads. I've planned and reserved everything I can. I have gone from upset, to annoyed to accepting. :rolleyes1 Unless Disney announces some drastic change before my trip I'm not reading another one! So come one, come all and join me on my :cloud9:

We used the MB/FP+ system in October 13 and it worked perfectly for us.

Ok it is DEFINITELY time for me to take this pledge. I have let myself get pulled into the FP+ drama one too many times.

We are going in May & October. Any posts her on TPAS will be of a strictly planning nature. In fact, I will probably scoot back over to Resorts, Restaurants and Trip Reports - more positivity.

But I really appreciate the attempts at positivity here!

You mean that I should just continue to fork over my five or six thousand dollars to Disney every summer, remain loyal to Disney, shut up and take it?

Sorry.

Before I discontinue vacationing in a place I really used to enjoy, I will use all reasonable means at my disposal to convince Disney to fix it.

I'm a bit concerned - have you experienced Disney World with the current FastPass Plus system and can add comments relating to your trips? I see you travel in the summer and since I haven't been there since Labor Day of 2013 and didn't have FastPass plus and am an Annual Passholder staying offsite for my trip next month, I was wondering if you could shed some light on your problems with the system.

Personally, I'm going and having whatever time I can. It's a vacation!

I'm in! I love WDW too much to get disgruntled over this. My trip is in a little more than three months away and I am as excited as I have ever been!

Sorry, we are well into the second page of this thread. Time to hijack it and turn it into a FP+ rant thread. ;)

Amen :worship: Every time I see another FP+ thread, I can't help but read and I always seem to get this little sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. But then I realise that I absolutely have to make my own mind up about FP+ based on my own experience and can't let anything else sway or prejudice me.

::yes:: Exactly the way I feel.

I think you need to go in and form you own opinion of the system. I pretty much ignored threads about it before going.

For the record, I didn't mind FP+ at all. And FP+ return times were <15 mins for most of the week, although we mostly visited parks on days recommended by EasyWDW. I actually feel like crowds this trip were much lighter then last years. Maybe because we paid attention to a crowd calender?

I'm in. We leave on Saturday and I'm not letting anything get me down now. I know I'll have a great time because a) it won't be 45 degrees and consistently dreary and b) I won't have to clean my house, go to work, go grocery shopping, get gas in the car, or drive kids around. It will be almost two glorious weeks of none of it and that alone is worth every penny spent. :cloud9:

I'll take the pledge. I am sooooooooo sick of the angry-occasionally elated-name calling threads. I can't stand it anymore. For the most part, I've avoided them for months, but they seem to have taken over, so I'll read 1 or 2 out of boredom. But no more! There is nothing we can do at the moment except write our opinions to Disney. and get over it.

What happened to the good ole stroller, boy's bathroom, taking your kids out of school, bubbles, pool hopping conversations? I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I miss them . . . .
