I haven't been on the DIS for a few months, and I don't think I have congratulated you on the new baby yet... so congrats! New additions are always so much fun!

It was great because we didn't even ask for it, but I know what it was the second the PP guy told us what to do.

Thanks so much! We did look pretty coordinated every day so far. I didn't even notice that Tony and I were both wearing gray until I posted these pics!

Thanks...we're very excited about the new baby. I'm now in the process of planning a baby shower with my mom. I'm SO happy that she's throwing me one...I have NOTHING!

I can't believe I forgot this photo!!!!

We finally got the balloon pic!!!! I had to crop it down like this....we were pretty far away in the original. Maddie & I were told to grab onto Tony like we were holding him down. I don't know how Madison thought that holding his hand was going to do anything.

I love how she's holding his hand! So sweet!

Congrats on the shower! They've come out with so many new fun baby things since Madison was a baby!

We're going to do a whole monkey theme for my shower (since that's the crib bedding we picked out) and I can't wait! We're trying to think of cute little games, favors, etc that have to do with monkeys.

Hi everyone! I was going to post an update today, but I just don't have the time to do so right now. Instead of an update, I thought I'd write about how I got the title of this TR. I know, I know...I should have done that way back at the beginning, but I didn't. So, here's the story.

I would imagine that most of you (if not all of you) have ridden a Disney bus in the past. As you approach your destination, you hear the same thing everytime. Something along the lines of, "Gather up all of your belongs, take small children by the hand, etc". I don't know exactly when it started, but it was early on in our trip....every time we would hear "Take small children by the hand" either Tony or I would reach over and take Maddie's hand. At first, she had no idea what was going on. We would then tell her that we were told to take small children by the end. She would then yank her hand away from us and tell us that she was not a small child. She was a large child.

As the week progressed, she knew that it was coming. We would pretend to be looking out the window or something like that, but when we would hear that announcement, we would causually slide our hand over to hers. She started hiding her hands behind her back!!! It would make us laugh every time and we always got off the bus talking about how she is still a small child to us. We seriously did this every single time we got off of a bus. It didn't matter if it was in the morning, afternoon or evening. Every single time.

So there you have it folks! The story of my TR title. It was a choice between "Take Small Children by the Hand" or "This Morning Pizza is delicious!" I do remember telling everyone about Madison calling breakfast pizza morning pizza. So cute!

The blog (and the TR title) is very cute... and I wouldn't mind having someone paint my back room! We are making a toy room for my nieces and nephews when they come over (hoping it will convert to a nursery... still deciding the color, though! =)

NICE UPDATE!!! I love the different titles but since you had such a positive (or not so positive for DD) experience with the bus messages, I love that you used it for the title! It's funny how your trip makes the title so easy

My DEC trip one "I won't stop stalking ADRs until I get to WDW" was because even on the plane I was stalking ADRs with my ITouch and scored the ADR that I had been looking for for weeks

Thanks! I also enjoy painting, but I can't really be around the fumes. I still plan on buying one of those masks so I can try to help where needed.

It little things like that, that only Disney can make magical. I just read your blog and it is great! Great progress on your house, maybe you will motivate me to start organizing everything in mine.

I love the bus story. We always got a good laugh out of it each day. How awesome that you're going for a Valentine's weekend...so jealous!! Organizing the house has been a TON of work, but it's fun at the same time. I'm such a neat freak and that room has been driving me crazy for a long time.

Glad to hear the background on your title! Can understand how Madison thinks she's a big girl, my wee goddaughter is 5 and she gets annoyed when we call her baby sarah! even though she still is our baby!

We had a bus story when my littlest sister was 8, we were switching parks and my mum had us primed to jump off the bus and more or less run and try and catch the next bus, we must've been in a rush for something, so the bus stopped we hopped off and set offf, the next thing we hear a call...'mam, you've forgot your child'...my sister had fell asleep on the bus and we hadn't noticed and was roaring and crying as we came running back, my mum hasn't lived it down 8 years later! although it was really bad at the time and mum was upset with herself, it's a funny memory now!

You should have seen the office before! Those are the current pictures. The laptop desk used to be up there, all of my scrapbooking stuff, the closet was filled to the brim....it was nuts!

Madison definately thinks she's all grown up, but she is still our little baby (for now).

That story about your sister is definately funny to think back on now. I'm sure your sister didn't think it was too pleasant at the time!

You do need a google account to post a comment (pretty sure). I'm still new to the whole blog thing too! I registered for a playard/pack n play and we hope to set it up downstairs (I do NOT want to climb the stairs a million times a day to change diapers). It will most likely be set up right behind my desk!

Thanks. Tony and Maddie are both really big into teasing (not in a mean spirited way) and we had a lot of fun with the bus thing on this trip.
