We are going to WDW with a 3yo and an 11mo (who may or may not be walking by then)
First of all should I take 2 single Maclarens or the twin traveller?
Secondly, if the 11mo is not walking by then where can I let her crawl in WDW?

Thanks

I'd take two singles. Can you buy a cheap umbrella and just bring one of the bigger ones? I'ts going to be next to impossible to juggle two kids and two larger strollers on the buses.

In the MK there is a playground area back in Mickey's Toontown, but if it's crowded it's not going to be safe for a "crawler". Most of the place is concrete. Maybe in the inside queue areas for some of the rides if you can get there before anyone else?

I have twins and have taken singles and the double...I personally feel it is easier to move in and out of the crowds with the umbrella strollers..We bought the clips and clipped the two together they are sold at babiesrus...this worked out great...the double is hard to fit through the gates at the parks especially at MK.....

We have twins and when we visited WDW we bought 2 umbrella strollers and took them on the plane and all thru Disney. WAiting for the bus at the end of the day with your own stroller is a God send.Difficult to maneuver a double stroller I would think. At the end of our trip we discarded the strollers as they were shot!

For the past year ( 4 trips so far...another planned for Christmas!!), we've taken 2 el-cheapo umbrella strollers. I wish that I had done this sooner! With 2 strollers, dh and I can separate from time-to-time. Also, it's far easier to make our way through the crowds. Using cheap strollers means we don't worry about losing our expensive double stroller. While we have never lost a stroller at WDW, we did have one stollen while shopping at the outlets in May.

Thank you. I guess the consensus is 2 stroller with a connector. However, a non reclining cheap stroller will only work for my 3 yo. The 11mo will need a reclinining one. Any suggestions?

Thanks

and plan on using it again this year. A double stroller is long, but not that wide and we found it fit on the monorail and were even able to collapse it take on the tram from the parking lots.
I loved it b/c it has lots of space underneath to store stuff and the recliner comes in handy for sleepy kids
I also like the trays on the front to toss crackers or cookies onto for snack time.
Just my two cents....

Kolcraft makes a reclining umbrella stroller with canopy. We have two and the connectors. It works great!

thats what we did and it works great...

we've done both and now prefer to take 2 single strollers (i also have maclarens). the advantage to the double mac is when one of us is on a ride, the other can easily go somewhere else with the two kids. with two strollers that's not really feasible but what i've been doing is just leaving one of the strollers where dh is and having him bring it empty to wherever we are when he gets off a ride.

i take a peg perego p3 for my 14m old and a lightweight umbrella like a mac volo for my 3yr old.

my dd was not walking on our trip in september, she had just turned one. and honestly there really were very few places to put her down.

So there is no risk of the strollers being stolen if expensive ones likes the P3 or the Mac Techno?
