In case you missed this:

We are leaving tomorrow!!!

We check into AKL on Saturday July 3, then move to BCV for the first week and OKW for the 2nd week. We are meeting the Zurgs and other DISers at MK on the 8th..
Chef Mickey's on the 4th for dinner..
LOTS of time eating the IMPORTANT Food Group at Beaches and Cream.. and that does not include sandwiches or salads.. ..

I am not whinning. I promised to put on a sweat shirt and I said I liked the food. Please don't make me stay with the big hairy canadian man! As long as I have the sea air and a sturdy ship I am happy. The yachts name is the Dawghaus. 105 feet in the water and six cabins plus crew quarters. If I am sober we may get to our destinations on cruises. If I am not we will "cruise to nowhere". Fun either way you look at.

Bichon Barb, you are a master planner! I think this is wonderful! I'm from Florida, so I'd enjoy a little bit of cool weather this hot, hot summer!

I hate to say this, but I'm beginning to think I'm alergic to sea-food, because I keep breaking out in hives. But, I'm a good sport and willing to eat anything else on the table!

I didn't bring along my mickey waffle iron, but I packed some of my cook gear. I made dessert for us after our dip in the hot tub. Here it is: I made a rich, ooey, gooey, nutty Banana Nut Bread. After it came out of the oven, I made a bread pudding with it - extra creamy almost custard like, since the bread pudding was so moist. Then just before serving, I cover each (large) serving with a warm, sweetened Jack Daniels sauce and torch it! Then just as the flames are about to go out, I douse it with home made Hot Fudge Sauce. Served with a scoop of real vanilla bean ice-cream. Anyone want some?
