I love the name Uranus for a dog. How can Pluto be OK, but not Uranus? They are both planets, right?

Awww! But I love Uranus!

I think it's a perfect name since Barb is all about astrology, the planets and the stars and what not. I know she was so happy when we named him for her.

Plus, he just looks like Uranus.

Good morning, I'm back. I leave for one day and you all try to runaway. I'm on my 2nd official day of being laid off and I'm at my mom's for the moment and her computer is so slow it's driving me nuts. I'm not going to even attempt to understand the present conversation!

I may try to go for a full time job at my old agency as they are interested in me coming back but it'll be hard adjustment going from parttime for fulltime. We'll see, just send some positive thoughts. Even if I can't get on everyday I think of you guys all the time and miss you terrible.

Hope everyone is having a good Friday. Last night, somehow, I was super productive! I cleaned, did the dishes, did two loads of laundry, went to the gym, went to the grocery store, made dinner and cleaned up after that. whoa. Something must be wrong with me...is there a full moon or something? Seems like the crisp Nova Scotia air is good for me!

Feel free to join in. We just got a new puppy, Venus. Isn't she adorable? Our other dogs, Pluto and Uranus, love her already. Uranus wandered off this morning and we couldn't find him for a while. Everything is fine now and we have a beautiful new puppy thanks to him!

OK guys, I just talked to Bichon Barb. She is on her way to Lake Placid for the weekend. She said we musn't change our dogs' names. She is so excited about Venus & said she is sending a cat named Saturn to join the brood.

Anyone up for a quick trip to Boston Harbor for the fireworks this weekend? The dawghaus is fully fueled and liquor cabinet needs to be stocked for the weekend. What is everyone drinking this weekend? Non alcoholic frozen drinks for the younger set. Catered food for all who come. Prime rib, Atlantic Salmon, grilled shrimp and scallops, lobster, green beans, steamed carrots, asparagus, and chocolate soufle'. semi formal attire for the evening is suggested. Now for the breather bozzo crank caller question girls...watch ya wearin?
