Hmmmmmm Geffic. Cooperstown is probably an hour and a half--two hours from here. There is actually a basketball hall of fame in Canastota which is about 30 minutes from here. I don't think it's very big though. Oh wait, duh, maybe that's the boxing hall of fame. (never mind :o not interested in boxing :crazy2: )

You guys are sweet. I had looked into tickets to Atlanta to visit my sister, but the prices were ridiculous. Besides, if I want to go somewhere then I have to get someone to stay with the dogs, and my parents are already doing that in a couple of weeks. So, I guess I should just start looking forward to my romantic weekend birthday/anniversary trip with Rob. Maybe I'll get Kenny down the street to babysit one day next week, and I'll go to the mall all by myself and buy something new to wear. :hyper:

OK guys it's late here and tomorrow is a busy day. I'm back at the beauty salon for a fake tan and hair cut and highlights ready for the holiday. DH has to go back to the foot doctor to check his wound is healing, then I have to go to the supermarket to get some food for dinner, then I have to pack the suitcase (DH looked at his clothes tonight decided he had ehough but he needed to iron them tomorrow), then our friends who are looking after our animals whilst we are away (one of my work friends and her fiance) are comming over for dinner. Should be a fun day :D

Good night everyone

Good night Danauk. Get to bed! It's late! ;)

I'm going to shut down now too. I think I'll work on my watercolors and watch Survivor at 8:00. I get to sleep in tomorrow. Stop by in the morning. We'll all have cawfee tawk -- or if you are from Boston, that would be cahfee tahk.

My kids are 8 and almost 5. Hannah's the 8 year old, and Caleb's my soon-to-be-5-year-old.

I would drink wine, but DH doesn't drink and refuses to buy alcohol, which is fine with me as well, since I don't really drink anyway!! I do have some chocolate tho...hmmmm....

QOTD on three cities/countries: I would say London, Vienna, and Switzerland (for chocolate). I want to go to Harrod's to their chocolate bar/shop and well--sample away:hyper: . I want some Swiss Miss tonight while deciding on which WDW resort to go for my first on site stay.

ibouncetoo Hi .. I thought about you today. I got my current DVC newsletter and it talks about what is happening at the world and what is opened/closed in the month of April and thought about sending it to you since you will be there soon.. But here it is..

What in the World
Bloom with a view
Put a little 'spring' in your step at the 11th annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, April 16 to June 6, 2004. Dazzle your eyes (and your nose) with the sights and scents of brilliantly colored flowers and fanciful topiaries. Stroll on over to the Ultimate Backyard Garden, where you can see what's sprouting up in the way of new ideas for outdoor living, or let your nose take over as you experience the pleasure of our intoxicating Perfume Garden. Give your green thumb a little workout with some help from top Disney horticulturists who work their magic on everything from topiaries to hanging baskets.

Pint-size gardeners will wander in 'a-maze-ment' through Disney's "DogGone" Maze, and delight in the daily Butterfly and Lady Bug Release. No need to remain earthbound, either—kids can creepy-crawl up the Space Climber, a net structure made just for mite-size climbing.

And why not make Mother's Day a bed of roses for your guest of honor? Make your reservation for the delectable "Mother's Day Weekend" brunch on May 8 and 9. Space is limited. Call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) for Priority Seating.

May the Force be with you
No need to journey to a galaxy far, far, away—just blast on over to Disney-MGM Studios Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, May 14 to June 13, 2004 for a month of Star Wars™ Weekends! Meet your favorite Star Wars heroes and villains face to face at daily star conversations, autograph sessions, and Hollywood-style motorcades. Enroll in the Jedi Training Academy, test your knowledge of Star Wars trivia, and book passage on Star Tours, the ultimate Star Wars thrill ride.

Cinco de Mayo, Pleasure Island-style
Come and celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island on April 30, May 1, and May 5, 2004. Enjoy live music, piñatas, and other Mexican delights. The Cinco de Mayo celebration is included with regular Pleasure Island admission.

After 7:00 pm, you must be 18 or older to enter Pleasure Island, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. You must be 21 or older to enter Mannequins Dance Palace and BET SoundStage™ Club. You must provide a valid photo ID that includes one of the following: U.S. or foreign driver's license, original Passport, or U.S. Military ID.

First name in sandwiches
There's a brand new place to grab a sandwich at Downtown Disney Marketplace, but it has a very old history! Earl of Sandwich is a collaboration between Planet Hollywood® founder Robert Earl and a direct descendant of the fourth Earl of Sandwich, John Montagu, credited with inventing the sandwich in 1762. 241 years later, John Montagu, the 11th Earl of Sandwich, is back in the family business!

The restaurant offers a mouthwatering menu of freshly prepared sandwiches, served on warm bread and garnished with original sauces and spreads. If you're on the run, you'll want to head to the Butler's Pantry side, stocked with "grab 'n' go" cold sandwiches, side orders, and desserts. You'll find the Earl of Sandwich holding court on the old Gourmet Pantry site, between Goofy's Candy Co. and Once Upon a Toy Store.

Round up your parade posse
Guests at the Magic Kingdom Park can corral an opportunity to view the new pre-parade show for Walt Disney Pictures' latest animated feature Home on the Range. You got an inside peek at this wild romp of a western in the current issue of Vacation Magic, and now two fantastic floats, accompanied by equestrians on horses and a 'range' of characters, bring the movie to life. Catch the show daily prior to the "Share a Dream Come True" Parade through April 16. And don't miss Home on the Range, now in theaters!

kadaten and s&ksmom I just got your PMs, I understand that the Swap is in the mail...

llebrekniT, I got your PM too, it is OK, you still have time.

OK, I need to vent. ALL MY SISTER CAN TALK ABOUT IS HOW NICE IT IS TO WATCH HER MOVIE ON THE BIG SCREEN NEXT TO THE BED!!! I am getting tired of it, especially since they conveneiantly FORGOT my chocolate movie!!!!!

There has to be a solution...HMMM, ohanafamily called the stereo repair shoppe, RRBB wants the counter cleaned out, I want a bigger TV...Well, Let's see..Chocolate Truck Stereo Shoppe, with ohanafamily's credit card on file... Hold on a second while I make a phone call...
.....
OK, That's right, they are supposed to hide the stereo so it doesn't gather dust and annoy my aunt. Well, I guess if the TV will collect dust on top... sure, mount it on the wall. Can you make the picture any Bigger? Oh, well, what about if they drop the TV set and squunch it down a little bit but make it wider? I mean it is the Widescreen version of my Chocolate movie. Really? Do you think they will notice? OK, we can try that. Sure, it is only a little extra labor. Hmm, well, OK. Yes, a new remote control would be nice too. Can you make everything work together? Fantastic....
.....
I'm Back They can move the TV and mount it on the wall. ohanafamily won't mind and RRBB will be glad the clutter is gone from on top of where the stereo is now. They said that they can squeeze and stretch the screen so that it looks bigger...OK, everybody, I will need your help with this one...

RRBB, it looks just the same, just moved around a bit....

Oh, and everyone, have a couple of Wonka Bars; if what I just did leaks to RRBB, I may be in the dryer for a long time...I just have to keep telling her that it has nothing to do with a trampoline or a bunny.

Uh oh, here she comes...everybody act natural...

... la la la ..
she is standing around , trying to look natural.. trying not to let anyone see the chocolate around her mouth..la la la .. hiding Neph La la la

what we aren't DOING ANYTHING>>> la la la..Nephosaurus.. Let's head to the HOT TUB and PARTY>>>

Just make sure that NC Beast does not get locked in the pool area.:p
(see page 160)

geffric, OK, but I don't have my swim suit... can I Skinny Dip?

Nephosaurus I thought that dragons were always "dressed" for the right occasions...

Everytime I here about this place I think of the Saturday Night Live sketch with the Earl of Sandwich. It was hysterical. Anyone remember it?

QOTD, 3 places I'd like to visit that I've never been:

Hawaii (the Big Island)
New Zealand
Crater Lake in Oregon

I'm off to bed. Have a great night everyone!!
