I was there that night cadburysmom! I went about 2 times last year. We bought some tickets pre-sale. I sang karoke one of the nights.

We have been begging Holly to do the face painting every time we go. Josh needs to do the dinosaur one this fall. It's really cool. Daniel wouldn't do it, but he did get a tatoo at MGM, it's still hanging in there. Holly kept the face paint on all day and she tried to sleep on her back so it wouldn't come off. But she turned at some point and part of the butterfly ended up on her pillow.

And, I must agree, DHB, you DO have the cutest niece in the whole wide world.

Didn't know they even had karake.....I was too busy snarfing turkey legs and fried candy bars to notice We got our tickets before the fair also....saved a bundle, especially on ride tkts, which, of course, we HAD to go back to use.

BTW....I didn't break my rib AT the fair itself, I was at home coughing due to the bronchitis.....the dr said your ribs can only take so much, so do be careful...

.....and sorry to go on about the "happy pills"....as a responsible single mom, I could only take them at certain times, especially to get to sleep...couldn't drive and had my son carpool to school....I'm lucky to have such good friends

I was tired Sunday so I not sure which Golden Corral that I ate at---I was somewhere in KY....on my way home to NC Beast.


I think I sang a Whitney Houston song--I wished that I sang the Hokey Pokey...they didn't have much of a selection of Disney songs.

I got to find my four year old niece's picture of her being Tinkerbell.

Check out their website at Capitalcreations.com....have several locations in Raleigh area.....I'm lucky that they deliver in my area Country Club Hills/North Hills....try their cheesecake desserts.....great ribs too, although I'm sure not as yummy as [COLOR=FF3300]NC Beast[/COLOR] makes!

"YEAST ROLLS rock!"--that's about what all I ate except for taters and roasterrie chicken. I was with a group of 50 friends so I went with the flow. NC Beast had to work last weekend--he made himself some homemade pizza.
