Cadburysmom, not sure what you can do but if your son really wants this girl to stop bothering him, at least when he's online, he can put a block against her screen name so that she can't communicate with him that way. And as for her calling, that's what Caller ID is for. Just scare the bejeebers out of her by reminding her that your machine is recording her number whenever she calls.

If that doesn't work, you can always sic Cadbury on her!

Busy morning at work. Quick pet run down. Not using color. Not using full sentences. ;) Me Tarzan, you Jane.

Ugh, I bought too many dogs and not enough cats! KADATEN is going to have to get a dog, 'cause her daughter wants one. :teeth:

CADBURYSMOM - dog
DEPPLYINLUV - dog
DHB - dog
LLEBREKNIT - dog
LEWSKI - dog (I think that's what it is ;) )
RICKINNYC - dog - evil though
KISMET - dog
ILUVTINK - dog
KADATEN - dog
COURTASAN - dog

DANAUK - cat
IBOUNCETOO - cat
DISNEYLUVERS - cat

Got it! Ten dogs and three cats and the rest Disney.

She obviously has her prioirties all wrong...one ALWAYS eats dessert first just to make sure that one is hungry....

cadburysmom please let us know what happed.. after all her daughter torn your son's shirt, not the other way around.. and more than once..i do believe that the school has a responsibility to get involved when damage is done..

cadburysmom, I would tell her that you were just verifying the stories of a girl trying to rip his clothes off. How embarassed would you feel if it were a pack of Bullies.

I would tell her that you were going to call her before doing anything official, and the teacher kind of took matters in her own hands. See if your DS and her can try the friends approach. Also, let her know that he notices her, and that ripping clothes is not good.

JMHO

:bounce:

Oops, only bought 2 cats, not 3. But something tells me that IBOUNCETOO might like Tigger. ;)

The doggie is a mixed breed(sherpard and unsure of the other half).Loveable and big and a great doggie

AQOTD: Winning the Cowboy Bebop set onEbay

Bichon Barb Nothing to it... just reach in and send me whatever you have left. A gift is special in itself.....

All right CourtasanSatine! Glad you won. Was there a furious bidding war? I hate war bidding.. all the refreshing and fast number typing. But when you win it's like WooHoo! I did it! It's mine!

Thanks all for the best wishes for DS. He's 1 of 2 French horns and since he's been to all the practices they made him lead! Yikes! You know, I never knew that the FH was so unpopular at the elementary schools until this concert. I thought they would have at least 4 or 5 of them.

Another QOTD:
What instrument (if any) did you play when you were a youngster? (I know we're all young at heart here but I'm talking actual birth certificate years);)

Gotta run and pick up youngest from K. :wave2:

I fell behind there for a while in the QOTD's, but I'm back now.

I played the clarinet. My name is Bichon Barb, and I am a band geek. :smooth:

Oh, for a while I was teaching myself piano, but I've neglected that. :(

.....well, the little girl's irate mother is now one highly embarrassed mother and just left my house with her tail between her legs.....

....she knocked on my door and after a few short pleasantries we went straight to the caller ID which did in fact show numerous calls from her home phone, and then I showed her the torn shirts, and did I mention before that some buttons were torn off his pants too:eek:.....she was sooooo embarrassed and I actually felt sorry for her....I offered her some tea and we drank and chatted for a while.....we decided that since the torn shirts were long-sleeved and DS9 wouldn't need to wear them much longer that she would buy him three new long-sleeved shirts in August before school started again....also, her daughter is going to have to sew the buttons back on the untorn shirt as well as the ripped shirts and pants as punishment....this was the mother's idea, not mine, but I said it sounded fine to me.......the mother even admitted she mistook my shyness for snobbiness and was thought I felt my son was too good for her daughter....I told her I'm very shy around new people but once I get to know you, I'll talk you to death......after all, we can't all be social butterflies like RickinNYC!;)

.....so it all ended on a good note. She's a little too high strung for me and 'blessed' me one too many times:rolleyes:, but hey, you get that in the south. It just worries me that she jumped in her car and drove staight over here is such a tizzy.....who knows, we might become best buddies after all this :)

cadburysmom, this is way better than General Hospital....a real cliffhanger....hurry up, what happened when she came over??? Well, I know now. We must have been typing at the same time. She sounds like a nut to me, but at least she believes you now.

QOTD: never played an instrument. I wanted to play the trumpet, but DB-Dan (llebrekniT's DH) ruined that for me. They bought him an oboe when he was in elementary school & didn't stick with it, so no musical instruments for me.

it was a easy one to win, most be nobody looking for Cowboy Bebop sets(only took 2 bids)

cadburysmom Glad to hear it ended on a happy note. (hehe get it...happy note) ahem, well...

CourtasanSatine But you never know until the time runs out. There are some of us (I mean the other us of course) that have no lives and can sit in front of the screen refreshing up until the last minute and, WHAM, put in a higher bid and WIN! Um, not that I've done that, I mean, not recently at least.

Anywho, I'm off to try and dig through the mess my boys call a closet and see if I can find where the oldest hid his dress socks. (The little devil talked me out of wearing them to church because he was an acolyte last time we went. We've missed two weeks but I have excuses...honest.):teeth:

cadburysmom you were much nicer than I think I may have been. Ok no, I'd have been nice but wanted some replacement clothes since it WAS so many.

QOTD: organ lessons, which ended after a couple years. Never a band geek.

I was gonna guess AK yesterday for llebrekniT but decided I would let you all play and win before me. Now, I think Epcot for the next place. Hard one, huh?

Rick I love Fondue. DH doesn't, neither does my dad. They want to have food prepared for them when they eat out, instead of cooking and playing with it themselves. I, on the other hand, enjoy the time, dipping sauces and playing with food. ::yes:: It is best with WINE....red WINE.

Barb send me everything you have. :earseek: Doesn't a roomie deserve special treatment? :teeth:

Ebay finds.........probably Doc Martens and other clothes ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh and my Dodge Durango. YES, I bought it on Ebay from FL and had it shipped to me.

Yikes! I just went back and read the whole story, cadburysmom. I had to laugh at the part where your son was supposedly "leading her on".
 I'm glad it worked out. Sounds like the other mom really embarassed herself.

Lewski, ummmmm what kind of lessons did you say those were?

:scratchin :bitelip: :goodvibes

ORGAN..........I think my mom wanted me to play in the church or something. Yeah, right.

OK, so obviously they are going to Epcot tonight. You win Lewski709! Now, where do they have a PS???

Hurry, if you are at home turn on your tv. Tune to ESPN2. My brother & nephew are at the game. llebrekniT said their seats are about 12 rows up behind home plate, so hopefully we will be able to see them. llebrekniT tried to talk Daniel into getting his face painted at AK so he would have a good chance of being shown on TV, but he wouldn't do it. The kid turns 12 & won't do anything fun  . Oh well, Holly got her face painted. Some sort of butterfly with lots of sparkle. I can't wait to see the pics.

I'm taping the game just in case they make it on TV.

cadburysmom wow, what a story. When Sam gets some unwanted IM's she always makes a copy of them for her records-you never know. And it could have turned ugly. Thank goodness you kept a call log. Hopefully the mom won't be too hard on the little girl, however she needs to learn some boy "etiquette"

Never played an instrument. I tried piano as an adult and the teacher told me to quit. So she crushed my dreams of being the next Liberace!!!

BICHON BARB, you nasty little girl. There is nothing wrong with playing the organ <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/im/smirk.gif' border=0></a> :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_101.gif' border=0></a>

cadburysmom, Who knows, they might wind up running away together to Clifornia at 16!!! Then Happily Married...Oh, wrong story.

disneyluvers, Congratulations on the lead French Horn!!! Cool!!!

I played the trumpet, not very well...

:bounce:
