Speaking of in laws...

I overheard a telephone conversation yesterday. SILCarol was asking DH if we were going to SILBarb's for Easter. DH says something like "Well, we haven't decided, blah, blah, blah". And then says something about my parents. He gets off the phone and says "Guess what! Your parents are invited too!" Oh, so I'm supposed to accept SILCarol's invitation to SILBarb's home? I told DH if SILBarb wanted my parents to come, she would have invited them in the first e-mail.

Anyway, SILBarb sent DH an e-mail today saying that they would expect my parents to be there as well as our dogs and they wouldn't have it any other way. Or something like that.

I give up. Looks like we have a two hour drive on Easter Sunday.

Oh, no phone cover, and it plays island music!

Lewski709 I only know the name of my mobile phone ring tone as I have a polyphonic phone and I down loaded the ring tone via the internet on my phone. One of the things I noticed when I have visited America is that our mobile phones seem to be newer models that what I have seen over there. I'm not sure if it was just the people I saw with phones or the stores I went in but it was just an observation. Over here if you have a contract phone you can upgrade to a brand new model for free or very little money every year. That is why I have a brand new model.

oh, I've just had a mint oreo and it was yummy!! I am saving the mini ones for our drive to Paris next weekend. :teeth:

If you're eating the chocolate Oreo's, just watch out for black teeth. :teeth:

Later guys. I have to get out of my sweats and put on some real clothes. Should we go to Chili's or should be try out the new Italian restaurant down the street, Pastino's? It's only on my list of choices, because I have a buy one get one free. I'm an Italian food snob. :snooty: If you want Italian food, Syracuse is the place to go. Just like the south is to BBQ or the SW is to TexMex.

Put it this way, asking a Syracusan if he wants to go to the Olive Garden is like asking a Texan if he wants to go to Taco Bell or maybe even Chili's.

Bwhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Sorry. Rambling again.

Ooh Italian food is the best :teeth: I have fond memories of being it Italy on my 18th birthday (I was on tour with the orchestra I was in at the time around Venice and Verona - oh those were the days!!)

Is no one going to guess where llebrekniT is having dinner tonight? Come on folks, you can do it!

QOTD: no cell phone, so no cover or happy tune. We got rid of the cell's when Lainie was born to save money since I wasn't working full time. DH has a work cell so I can reach him if I need to. I really don't miss it as much as I thought I would.

Hi, Barb, Actually, I am allergic to Cilantro, and in College I lived in a Chili's (dinner 4 times a week) Olive Garden is OK, DW likes the salads.

I would say go to the Italian place. then blast it!!!!!

:bounce:

Oh, Probably they will eat somewhere in WS...maybe germany at the restaraunt there.

Oh well it is late here so i better be going to bed.

Have a good evening everyone.

hey everyone!

since y'all are talking about cats, then i'll tell you about my pets.:teeth:

i have a collie dog named Aggie, (Gig'em!;) ) who is a girl, and a girl cat named Lily, and a boy bird named Aravis. we thought that Aravis was a girl, but then we took him to the vet, and the vet said that he was a boy!!! we were shoked!
Lily is ok. she's mean sometimes, but other than that she's cool!:teeth:
Aggie is the cutest, sweetest, most loving dog in the world! i love her!:teeth:

Hi!

I played the best joke yet on NC Beast. I had to go to the doctor's for a follow-up on bronchitis-well-I was joking with the receptionists about it would be funny to do a preggers test as a joke. NC Beast overheard that bit, so we didn't do it. During my appointment, NC Beast was napping in the reception area. I woke him up saying "wake up Daddy". You should have seen him jump out of his skin. I am not preggers yet----just have a bronchial infection. There are some good sales out this week. I made it up to NC Beast by buying him some things too.:p

Hi fifi07, stick around a while and have some Chocolate...

QOTD: puppy cover that's about to be changed and a tone that came with the phone(it's Mexican Hat Dance)

have fun NC Belle

I see noone's chatting tonight....found us on page 2

QOTD: cell phone: It's a red hawaiian print. DH and I have the same phone and this makes it easy to tell apart. He felt left out when I didn't get him one, so now he has a solid blue one. Wants a GaTech one, but can't find 'em here in Virginia :) Mine plays "Ode to Joy " (you know it....the music to the old hymn "Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee")....not for religious reasons, just have always loved that piece of music. It was the recessional at my wedding with organ and live trumpets :)

RRBB Haven't been on much tonight as I'm finally working on my DD's ABC book (scrapbook). A little late since she knows all her letters  I never claimed to be up-to-date! Guess I should go ahead and work on DS's at the same time.... except that I have a Disney trip/family reunion album to finish for MIL....a thank-you for them picking up 95% of our trip in December :) Hey....did I see in one of the mags this month that there's some kinda scrapbook convention in Orlando this fall? Was I hallucinating or is there one? I've never been to one as I am so far behind and get so little done in my books that I know I'd spend WAY too much money in relation to what I'd have to show for it....but I sure would love to go to one, just to see all the stuff that my LSS doesn't have :)

Nite all! Must go medicate....the allergies/sinuses are really killing me tonight!

kadaten, I'm still up. I've been chatting on line with one of the guys who was in town for the high school reunion. Just discovered we were at WDW within two weeks of each other last November!

Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" from the ninth symphony is one of my favorites and I had it on my phone too!

I also 'hear' you on the scrapbooking (but for me, stamping) and spending $$$$$$ on supplies (see my TAG). I've just re-done the whole craft room/office and haven't made one blasted card yet!

OK, got to run....telephone....who could be calling this late?

My boy played beautifully tonight!!!
12_1_34.gif
I am sooo proud of him. He's lugged that thing around for 3 years and I am sooo proud!! And it turned out that the boy who would've been playing with him wasn't allowed because he couldn't play well enough - he hadn't gone to the practices. That meant that Josh had to play all of the music himself. He didn't get a break and only have to play like 3 bars here and wait 3 then play the next 3 and so on.... he had to play all the music for 5 selections. WOW! Did I tell you I'm sooo proud of him! OK enough parental pride.. heaven knows my chest doesn't need to puff out anymore than it already has.

Hey I really just got on to catch up on some DIS news and Guess What?......

iluvtink won a DIS t-shirt!! Cool, huh?

We have to have a great big party on Sunday, OK?

RRBB and ohanafamily Join a "child free" group. That's what I told my sis to do after her friends started to have children and some of our family started the "Aren't you pregnant yet?" stuff or the "you're missing out on so much" crap. I told her she wasn't missing out on nothin' except constant back pain, prematurely creaking joints, and bigger feet than what she started with. If you want the love of any child it's there for you to find. The love doesn't have to necessarily come from one of your own. Love is love. It felt right for me to have babies. It doesn't feel right for my DS to have them. OK must stop ranting now....

I have to sleep now... nighty night all
:wave2:

Morning TAGLIKINS, hmm lets see, coffee, of course, and Cindy's stuffed french toast and all the fixins for breakfast.

disneyluvers, contgrats going out to your son on a great night. Did you get tears in your eyes or what??? See, you cna now show him proof that practice does make a difference.

NC Belle have a good and safe trip. KY should be pretty this time of year.

oh its too early to think this am so I'm off to eat brkfst and drink my pot. I'll be back later to chat. Gotta wake up first. TTFN
