One of my longest term friends (our parents were in hospital rooms near each other when we were born) is in town from Hong Kong. He asked what RRBB was up to I told him "The usual, Internet, Scrapbooking, and watching Soaps." He then asked for an explanation of what Scrap-booking is. He had heard it was real popular. I am taking him a page the RRBB had swapped with (where she used pictures from his wedding) I am meeting him around lunch time.....

QOYesterday: The first thing I ever won on ebay was a DVD of The Little Mermaid.

ohanafamily Thanks so much for the tips. I'll let you know how things go. Are you free later this week in the evening so that I can put you through 20 questions if necessary? I'm afraid once again, Joe and I have plans for tonight. We're going to see a taping of Crossroads (CMT show). Tonight's guests are Brad Paisley and John Mayer. Should be pretty neat.

As for the multiple QOTD:

1. Last thing I do before leaving for vacation. I tell Joe to leave me alone, sit and watch TV so that I can double check everything we packed, make sure we have all the plane e-ticket info, any passes, confirmation numbers, meds, bathroom junk, cash, credit cards, debit cards, check book, travelers checks, books, magazines, playing cards, etc... Then I call the car service to make sure they're on their way. Then I check all the windows and doors. Then I call our dog sitter to make sure he's all set. Then I call our landlord to make sure she remembers that we're not going to be around and to please take in our mail. Then I make sure that my work voice mail has been changed. Then I call my folks to give them our flight itinerary once again. Then I tell Joe he's allowed to move and talk to me. (I'm the planner, he's the "can we go now?" guy.)

2. What do I collect? I used to collect something called Living Dead Dolls but realized they were taking over my room. So I decided to sell them on Ebay. I had paid about $600.00 over two years on these suckers and when I sold them, I got close to $2000.00! Woo hoo!

Now I started collecting Teddy Scares. They're a hoot!

3. What was the first thing I bought on Ebay? Not sure which one it was, but I bought a number of old 80's slasher flicks.

geffric So glad you're back AND thanks for the breakfast! I'm always sooooo depressed after I get back from vacation and hope you aren't suffering "cruise" withdrawal!

Here's my NOT fun plans for today:

1. I've got to take Cadbury to the vet today This means much shaking and teeth chattering on her part and always a huge vet bill for me Definitely NOT a fun time for all.......but she's my big sweet girl dog and worth every penny......

2. ....then on to the orthodontist with DS who is terrified he might need braces.....more shaking and teeth chattering on his part and an even bigger orthodontist bill for me Definitely NOT fun at all...but just like the dog, except that he's human and a male, he's worth every penny....

.....so my day will be full of shaking and teeth chattering and receiving huge bills.....NOT FUN.....what's everyone else up to?

Sure wish I was going to WDW today with [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR]!

I have to give a presentation on community service, volunteerism and philanthropy at Morgan Stanley this afternoon. Lots of BIG smiles, tons of "thanks for letting me speak today" and butt kissing galore. Let's hope I charm a few bucks out of them!

BTW, now we absolutely, positively have to go on this trip in October. DH and I decided that instead of doing an August Disney camping trip, we are going to do a Lake Lanier, Georgia, camping trip. I'm on the Schmidt list with my sister, because we haven't visited her (the whole family) since (I'm embarassed to say) 1998 or 1999. I brought up the idea last night, and Rob agreed that driving 16 hours in two days sounded better than driving 21 hours in two days. I'd rather go to Disney when the weather is bad here anyway.

So, Lewski, are we still on?

What am I up to today, well I'm at work right now, then I'll go home, have lunch and maybe grocery shop. Can't decide what to make for dinner though, which I was traveling with llebreknit and having lunch at GF.

Thanks for the delicious breakfast geffric. I need the fortification today because I have so much to do. First thing that I have to do is get my layout sent off to the magazine publisher. While I'm at it I figured I finally send a couple of wedding presents - one wedding was last June (well really May 31) and the other was mid-September. I know, I'm bad.

Then it's off to the grocery store for just about everything. Another thing I'm bad about - keeping the kitchen stocked with food.

Nieceosaurus & Nephosaurus are really getting into this swap thing, Please don't forget to PM him when you send the package out (so we can ask for it at our mailbox...sometimes they forget to leave us a note that boxes are here.) We will be visiting family over Passover, I will be gone from Saturday afternoon through Wednesday Afternoon. DW will stick around from Saturday to Saturday....just an FYI, we will try to check in from time to time......
