Tagliarchy Island Part 2

just to add a little bit to ohanafamily's DVC

You can get a resale for $ 70 - 75 per point.. making the cost $ 10, 500 - $ 11,250.. Also , the difference is a 1 bedroom, with a full kitchen and washer and dryer not a hotel room...

Maybe not as important now as when there are more than 2 of you.. but as kids get bigger and older then tha cost of large room with bunks or 2 room becomes the issue..

cadburysmomwhodoesn'tstink I sent everyone a bath essential. I am glad I did, because as much as you say you think you stink, maybe you do. ;)

llebrekniT and Deadheadbelle, I have been posting reports on how RRBB is feeling. She is doing well physically, she is dealing with the loss better and better each day. She has had no morning sickness or any other major physical ailment. She has been keeping very busy which helps. Last night she called me on the way home from her scrapbooking convention, I had evidently fallen asleep. By the time I woke up she was very upset thinking something had happened to me. She will be fine, but again, she is a few months pregnant. Is that enough of an update for you?

Oh, and thanks for breakfast...

:bounce:
ohanafamily I have asked about RRBB too and not gotten responses. We ask because being pregnant isn't easy. Emotionally......hormones flood that have never been around before and it's not easy. Exhaustion.......sets in quite easily and since we don't know the due date for sure, we "think" she is around that point. Also, those would be the reasons you can't do anything right. You have to be extra nice during these 10 months of pregnancy. Yes, 10 months....not 9. I would think you'd rather us ask, than not. Sorry if we are bothering you, but it's because RRBB needs special, extra love and attention!!!

Good luck with your theory. Kids don't always get piercings because they are attention starved. Pretty normal for girl to want earrings around 8. I wanted them at 10 and was made to wait until 13. It was to fit in and wear pretties.

I made a second hole on my own in one ear. I got a third and the second in the other ear done professionally around 16. That was it. Still have them today and it's really fine. Rather have a piercing in my ears than to have gotten into drugs.

My boys won't have them unless they do it without permission and it won't be pretty if they do. I have seen some kids younger than 10 with them and I wonder what people are thinking.

Hi all,

I thought I was doing well to update you on her condition, but I guess I wasn't....

Oh well...

I will give some more DVC insight later tonight, I got buried at work....

BTW, TinkBakwards and Bichon Barb won the baby contest, and Barb has rec'd her prize already.... Haven't heard from TB yet.....

Jordan should be arriving any minute......haven't seen him since I dropped him off at camp on Sunday......my brother picked him up by sailboat and they stayed on the river most of the day which means I've been waiting most of the day.....I hear car doors slamming...could that be him.....

Evening all,
I am shattered today! The trip was great. The place was very hands on for the kids and they loved it ::yes:: Then I had an hour to get home, have dinner and wash my hair before doing a 5 hour voluntary bar shift at the theatre!!

QOTD: I used to work in a burger king on britains main motorway. Anyway this meant that I served quite a few famous English people who you probably have not heard of. I served several football stars and TV stars. My university was also used as a location for TV shoots and as it was an arts college produced a few TV stars. I have also seen Tom Jones, all of the royal family (Princess Anne was lovely) of course my bar man Robbie Williams (I saw him on my wedding day as he was in a concert near our village the next day and stayed in the same hotel we had our reception in.) Oh I met David Beckham too.

Oliver Cromwell as a relative - probably not a good thing! I mean he did try to murder the king and blow up parlament!! But we do have bonfire night each year because of him.

OK, back to reading the posts. I know there were other things I wanted to respond to....

And as you leave, I come back!!

I know, Lewski, I've been so happy-go-lucky without clowns and other scary images running around in my head! I HOPE my computer doesn't go down for a really long time!!

I got my ears pierced when I was 6. I've finally gotten back into the habit of wearing earrings....only my silver hoops though. I don't like earrings a lot, but hoops are really cute.

I took this picture last weekend. That's the beach I live 5 minutes from....actually I went swimming Wednesday there!! My first beach trip of the year!! It was quite exciting!

Well, I'm off to eat some food, and watch the red sox, since I don't think anyone is around :( :wave2:

Lewski, that was just the nicest post! And, it was so nice to hear Rick gush about me too. I know he's proud of the work I do as a volunteer, and it's amazing to me that not only do I like to do it, but I found that I'm pretty good at it. It's been a while since I felt that way about something, and it's nice. I would do it even if Rick didn't say wonderful things, but I'll be honest...I blushed when I read his post. Even after all these years, he made me blush.

I told you...I am more like Dopey if he could talk! hahaha.

Oh, and I forget to mention one of my favorite star sightings. This was back in the early 90's. I worked on the second floor then and one of the attorneys in my office called me into her office. From the 2nd floor, we had a very clear, and close view of the corner of 22nd Street and Fifth Avenue, and there, right before our eyes, were JFK, Jr. and Daryll Hannah making out on the corner. They must have kissed for a good ten minutes before crossing the street. The whole office was crammed into this one attorneys office watching them like a bunch of peeping toms. But if you're going to make out on a street corner in Manhattan, you're going to get looked at. Even if you're not famous!!

Still trying to catch up, but of course this post caught my eye.

Pray tell!!!!! How could anyone go after Delswife's parenting???? She is cool mom extraordinaire!

She has a thread on the CB about some experiences with Commando Nicki being sick and problems at the ER.....people were all over her about not having insurance.

QOTD lots of celebs, as you may expect working in a TV station, so I'll just mention recent ones that were more than just a "howdy" and a wave.

Dennis Quaid (REALLY nice hug fro him!)
Donny Osmond (at a party we hosted)
Patrick Swazy (a couple of times chatting at the Arabian Horse Show)
Brook Shields (at a party we hosted)
David Hyde Pearse and Jane Leavy (at a party we hosted)
Peter Raskel (sp?), Beau Brady from Days of Our Lives...what a sweetie!

...OK anybody old enough to remember Robert Lansing?....he did lots of movies and had a TV show called "12 O'Clock High"...this was the '70's kids....anyway, danced with him at the Playboy Club in Chicago! Oh, la, la!

OK...I'm still at work and it's 6:11P....I'm heading home to finish up the rest of the pages (left off on 822).
Later.

Hey Viggo......where have you been hiding lately? Whip me up one of your special Hidalgo margaritas and we'll sit and talk awhile. We had the nasty t-storms coming through between 9:15pm and 10:15pm---power out three times-had to unplug the modem. You could feel the floor shaking a long time and Jessie had to be held by NC Beast. Poor thing- she was upset that he had to go to work at the tail end of the storm.
