[COLOR=FF0033]cadburysmom[/COLOR], I saw an interview with the director where he said that JK Rowlings was unhappy with the previous director. She told him that he didn't have to stick to the books, but the spirit of the books. My problem with this movie is the transitions are not strong and a lot of the changes he made do not make sense if you think them through in the context of the universe she created. I guess I just don't like his style, and I appear to be in the minority. The movie was good and Jordan will love it. I also think the waiters name was "Cousin George" but I had sooo many drinks that night. I have had the little girl section of wishes running through my head since we left (OK, we bought the CD) "Star-Light Star-Bright First Star I See Tonight. I Wish I May, I wish I Might......"

'mornin' all. thanks for breakfast.

Have a good salad recipe for y'all. I found it on the internet and made it for dinner club last night... it was a big hit!

It doesn't have chocolate in it, but the cannoli cake had a to die for chocolate ganache. I'll have to get that recipe from my friend for you too.

Cranberry Spinach Salad

1 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. almonds, blanched and slivered
1 pound spinach, rinsed and torn into bite-sized pieces
1 c. dried cranberries (I used Craisins)
2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
1 Tbsp. poppyseeds
1/2 c. granulated white sugar
2 tsp. minced onion
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 c. white wine vinegar
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. vegetable oil.

Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add almonds, cook and stir until lightly toasted. Remove from heat and let cool.

In a large bowl, combine spinach, cranberries and cooled almonds.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the sesame seeds, poppyseeds, sugar, onion, paprika, white wine and cider vinegars and oil

Toss dressing with spinach just prior to serving.


Well, this afternoon is our neighborhood picnic, and I have to bring another salad. A salad girl I am not. I wanted to be assigned a dessert so I could bring a Mississippi Mud cake! So, in rebellion, I am going to make pasta salad from a box... aren't I the testy one?

Where are you llebrekniT??? Hope Ella is okay and the rest of the family is still disease free.

Allow me to address these questions/comments in reverse order!

I too shiver with anticipation of AP rates. Where we stay for the back half of the trip will depend on those rates. We know the dragons and their guardians are at Beach Club Villas, and the DIVAS are looking at POFQ (though AP rates could change that I guess), but have you SIL's made a reservation somewhere already.....I can't remember seeing a post on that.....that you may change when AP's come out? It will really be up to PixieMagic but my votes are for any Epcot area resort, POFQ (I really liked it)....or.....an All Stars and stay an extra night.

Regarding breakfast at CP......I believe EVERYONE is attending that event, so I figured we'd be doing a group discussion on the timing (and electing someone to make the PS). I belive this is the only event with the ENTIRE GROUP that we can plan in advance. Though we will be planning meets without you and DSIL.......with the hopes that you just 'happen' to be there .....is that still the sceanario? Anyway, I'd want to be at MK early to enjoy Fantasyland with you and the little girls, weather we ate first or mid morning doesn't matter to me, I just want to take advantage of the time we KNOW we'll be able to see you. Which brings me to another question.....which day do you think this is going to happen? For some reason I was thinking it was likely to be Mon or Tues. If Sun is your first full day, I can't imagine it would be the day you'd split up from family. And I believe all the DIVAS are staying till Wed, right?

Hi guys!

Long time, no talk, but I'm back for a few minutes.

The last few days have been very busy, I have lurked a little to keep up with the pace here.

Ella is feeling much better, Holly has it now. Not as bad as Ella's was, but she sure wouldn't say the same. Drama queen, er, princess! Like mama, like daughter I guess.

Ohana, um thanks for the update on your wife, I think. To be honest, I'm quite sorry I asked. If you don't want to be asked how she is doing, just say so. Well, I guess you just did, huh? Anyway, she's a sweet girl and she's in my thoughts or else I wouldn't be asking. You've made it clear that it's none of my business though, so I won't bother you again.

I did receive my prize, but it was on one of the days when you were ignoring me so I didn't bother mentioning it. It was quite nice, too nice in fact. The kids have had a great time with the rhino and Holly has made him a permanent bed in her room. Thank you very much, I wasn't expecting such a nice prize.

Daniel's team won another game today. Still just have one loss. They have clinched first place in their division and are tied for 1st place in the league. The big game is Tuesday with the only team who has beat us. I'm nervous already. These games are far too intense.

Daniel caught the game winning out today! I think he's done that three times this year. I'm so happy for him.

Looks like we're about to get another little storm. Think I'll go check the dopler.

If anybody else asked me anything the last couple days, you may need to ask again. I've scanned and skimmed looking for my name and it didn't look as though anybody was in much need of me.

Last night I stayed with Heather. We had so much fun!! We went to Sonic around 10:00pm, and ate {those s'mores things are pretty good!!!! } We saw Lacey's boyfriend and Chris. {Chris Morris, the nice one, not Chris Williams, the one who plays basketball}He talked to Uncle Heath {Heather's dad, not really my uncle, and he'd talk to the wall if it would talk back...} for a while, but kept looking in the backseat at us. I was wearing black baggy "workout" pants, a black "rock and roll forever" shirt, and NO shoes, LoL!!! Heather had on shorts and an old big T-shirt......so we weren't getting out, LoL!!!

Yesterday we played the boys. Well, they were being obnoxious, and we were all about ready to hit them in the face with the ball. Chris was here today BTW. Well, I was running a "5" poisition today. So when they shoot free throws, I'm back under the other teams goal for defense. I was back there with Kyle and Chris. Chris walked up and said "well this should be easy kyle, we've got a slow one back here." Kyle said "yeah man, we can pass the ball back and forth, she'd never catch us." I looked at both of them, started to say something, but just rolled my eyes instead. Then Chris goes " we're not making fun of you..." I ignored him. "you hear me, we're not making fun of you, seriously..." I didn't say a word, just glanced at him, and then watched Brandie shoot her second shot.

Then, much later {4th period} he was throwing the ball in. I was on the bench with Lacey and Christina. He couldn't get it in, so he bounced it off of Jala and tried to dribble down court. You should've seen Jala's face!!!!!! She was MAD!!!! She grabbed him when they hit half court. She grabbed his hair with one hand, his shirt with the other, and slammed him onto the floor!!!! He slid a few feet!!! He was shocked!!! It was soooooo funny!!!!!!! And the whole time, coach was saying, "good foul Jala, great job!!"

It was hilarious!!!

Well, a guy who used to work with me where I am now, was recruited by my company a while back. He stayed for about 2yrs and then went back to this other company. So, he has given my resume once, about 5months ago, as a "hey look, this lady we want" do we have anything in FL open? No, not now they said.

About a month ago, another guy asked if he still had it. So, I sent it again, he forwarded it and told him I was really looking to get back down to Fl. He asked him the time frame, he said I was open.

Most recently, he had called to inform me they were asking him some questions. I told him now - a year...the sooner, the better. They asked if I was gonna be in that area any time soon and he said no, but she could interview here. I am still waiting for the call. I know it's been a couple weeks.

I called my contact back again and said I could work and commute 1.5hrs here if necessary, before the placement there. You see, I was <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_12_6.gif' border=0></a> by doing that.....I may be eligible for some relocation fees <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/29/29_4_20.gif' border=0></a>. I know they pay for that. Maybe even a temp <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/29/29_4_30.gif' border=0></a>, until I can sell mine and get the family there.

That's all I know though.

We think we'll be early birding in the park and do the breakfast at a 9-10 time. Whenever, but we'll be at MK early.

Yes, we are leaving Wed, so only doing the parks Sun, Mon and Tues. We are doing F&W Fest two of those nights and PI the other.

Umm, What did I make clear? I thought I was giving the reports you wanted, found out I was wrong (I get that way a lot since Robin got pregnant) and have been trying to give reports of interest and import. Please don't be mad at me!

As far as the prizes go, we got them when the Knowledge store was having a going out of business sale...cheap. We wanted to do something nice for you all...I hope the kids like it. Nephosaurus likes Rhinos over Hippos (it's a guy thing.)

I spent all day hiring these guys to build you an escape hatch that leads to the caves on Tom Sawyer Island for the times you need to head for cover. Look for the door labelled Wonka Safe and turn right at that corner, then go down the hall and make another right, then look for the door painted blue, turn right at that corner, and go down that hall, and you guess it its another right.....
