Poor Holly. I think she needs to get a little meanness in her. When she was 5 & Josh was 2 1/2, he would hit her & we would tell her to hit him back. She just couldn't do it. Too nice, that girl.

Thanks for ordering breakfast, [COLOR=FF0033]cadburysmom[/COLOR]. Yummy!! BTW, how did Soccer try-outs go?? Is today the last day? Soccer is really competitive here too. DSIL played in a league like you are talking about & DBIL did too. Here everything is really political though. DBIL never made the "Ultimate" team. He was always on the team just below it. Well, the coach of the "Ultimate" team didn't always pick the best kids, just the kids of the parents he was friends with. Once they hit high school, everything changed. The high school coach just wants to win & he doesn't care who the kids parents are. Anyway, DBIL made Varsity as a Sophomore & started every game.

Kids brag... beware if you could care less....

Tom got chosen for All Star Soccer last night. The coach called and asked him to play . It is quite an honor around here. They pick 15 kids out of hundreds. The coach "scouted" Tom the last two games. Now Tom thinks he is ready for pros!! But he needed this for his ego. hard to stay up with Sam. She got invited to an awards ceremony today after school. Her teachers were thrilled b/c only a few juniors are asked to attend this ceremony. All she needs is a bigger head!!

TINKBACKWARDS...Holly sounds just like Sam. Don't worry. She will make ther right decision and say the right things. No one could stay mad at her for long. Part of growing up.

I know, I know. Holly's on her own on this one. I told her that this will happen all through school and she has to learn to deal with it. She doesn't know why they can't just be reasonable. She's a little on the mature side for a seven year old.

Silly girls.

Still, if anybody has a tried and true method, clue me in.

It's raining again! Forget April showers, in KY, it's May showers. We always get way more rain in May than April.

Time to get busy. I haven't posted any new pictures in a few days so I'll have to do one, or two, now.

Good Morning!!! And finally the sun is shining in Maine and I am one happy girl!!!!! Perfect meet weather, just *wonderful* I'm bouncing off walls!!!


Bleh, I smell like Old English furniture polish....why must we have so many dusty surfaces in my house?! Why do people come and visit us...I'm perfectly happy living in my dusty pig pen(well, my room...the rest of my house is always spot-less...me mom is a rather neat freak ) I got yelled at for sleeping till 9....jeez, what is this world coming to?! I got immediately up, went downstairs to start dusting, when she yells at me because the floor just got mopped and it's still drying! My mom gets waaaay too hard to live with when it comes to people visiting, the food preparations, and the cleaning....ah well, thanks for letting me vent!


But, problems with track. I don't think one of my coaches(the one who is in charge of the 7th graders) will be here today because...HE'S GOING TO A RED SOX GAME!!!! I'm quite mad at him, and the seed meeting is tonight and I haven't finalized my events yet, so I don't know what to do because I'm not supposed to decide anything without talking to him because he wants to make sure whatever I do doesn't tire me out for our relay...he should have thought about that before getting tickets for the day of the seed meeting ....thanks for another vent!!
