And there's no real reason for posting this picture, I just think it's cute. This was after the zoo field trip last week.

Ooh cadburysmom I had my Phantom CD on the other day. I love that show. Have you seen it? I saw it in Manchester with my parents when I was younger and I saw it again 2 years ago in Londons west end. I love that show ::yes::

Yes! Yes! Yes! I've seen it in London twice, once with Sarah Brighton, on Broadway three times and even enjoyed it when a local theatre group did it......guess I'm kinda a "Phantom" junkie......so glad to know you are one too :teeth:

Ok, just planted some grasses the other day at a corner of the deck. Eventually we are going to put another addition onto the house. I want to move our kitchen to the back of the house, where the family room is now and add on a family room and probably we will have a pool put in when we do this.

Ok why did I just tell you that? Because I keep planting things around the deck which is where the addition will go and I must STOP!

I started a clematis vine on some lattice work - guess where? - on the deck last summer and it has gone crazy this year! It's very thick and I need to thin it out so I could transfer some to the fence. Right now on the left side of the fence I have two althea bushes, do you know what they are? And the corkscrew willow. I'm thinking of planting some river birch because they grow so quickly.

I have thought of doing the grape vines in the back too. We would need some type of structure to support it right?

llebrekniT I love the new pics and especially love the girls' matching outfits.....does mom have one too? ::yes::

Well I see you have moved on and are now talking to cadburysmom about music so I'll just leave.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_9_8.gif' border=0></a>

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_2_11.gif' border=0></a>

But I do have to go. You keep thinking up stuff for me. I'll be back later.

Goodness no! I will occassionally coordinate my outfit to theirs, but match, oh no, never!

Have you heard me saying "it's pick on Barb day"?

Move on girlfriend!;)

Eerm llebrekniT have you thought about moving some of the plants from around the deck to around the fence if you are going to build there?!? You would need a structure to grow the vines on, but you could put some arches along the fence for the vines to trail over.

cadburysmom I saw Michael Ball as Phantom when we saw it. Over here amateur companies can not put on shows that are currently on in the west end so we wouldn't be able to do Phantom. Plus some licence groups say certain shows can not be performed within 100 miles of London. Guess how far our theatre is from London? 98 miles!! Some companies let us get away with it and other do not. The Really Useful group who hold the rights for Phantom do let us though. So once it is off the west end we might be able to do it. But not in the near future! What other musicals have you seen?

llebrekniT I only asked because Jordan and I had matching outfits when he was 2 and 3 and 4. My neighbor always had the "Kelly's Kids" homeshows and I would get a skirt for me and matching sailor suit for Jordan.....very cool and hip here in the south :teeth: We had a matching set in blue seersucker and another set in a plaid. My mom and I used to have matching outfits when I was little too.....I know what you're thinking....she's such a nerd and that poor little boy was forced to dress like his mom  :p

It WAS really cute at the time, and remember, I don't have a GIRL, so I did the next best thing....too bad he'd never let me do it now :hyper:

I absolutely loved Jekyll and Hyde.....if you haven't seen it...you must! I saw Chicago in the West End too but must admit I liked the movie better. And I'm embarrassed to admit it but I cry every time I hear "Bring Him Home" from Les Mis. My brother and I have a standing argument over which music is better, Phantom or Les Mis.......although I think Les Mis is wonderful, I just gotta go with Phantom ::yes::

Gotta add a few others........Camelot, Sound of Music and Guys and Dolls....definitely classics! ::yes::

cadburysmom I agree with you on that, although I enjoyed Les Mis very much too. My DH's ex school are putting on the schools version of Les Mis next month and I am going to see it (these kids are amazing, it is really a professional show not a school one they are that good!!) My friend Martin has the lead and he is so good ::yes::
I think my favourite west end show was The Witches of Eastwick. It was surprisingly good, so much better than the film. It is a shame they took it off. I also enjoyed the Lion King a lot too, very interesting theatrical elements as well as the music. I want to see We will rock you - the Queen musical next. I love Queen.

Never even heard of Witches of Eastwick but Jordan and I saw the Lion King when we were there last summer for my brother's wedding.....I was a little hesitant to watch it because I thought it couldn't possibly be as good as the movie, but it was so different and unique that we couldn't help but love it. My cousins chose to see Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang on stage but I'm glad we saw Lion King instead ::yes::

I'm soooo jealous that you live so close to London and get to see those wonderful West End productions! Next time I find myself in London, you'll have to join me for dinner and a show :teeth:

Danauk Come to think of it I have seen the movie, Witches of Eastwick, but didn't realize it was a stage production.....and I bet the Queen show will be excellent!

Awww llebrekniT, I love your kids! They are SO adorable!!

Hmm, last CD I bought, Jessica Andrews - "Who I Am" My favorite CD is the 'clean' version of OutKast's "Spearboxxx/The Love Below."

Baseball is awesome! Every summer we go to 4-5 AA games(Red Sox affiliate, The Sea Dogs) and now we're trying to get to a Red Sox game every year, because I'm totally obsessed. I also love football(Tom Brady is oh-so-handsome), hockey, basketball....basically any sport except soccer which is SO boring...and car racing(it isn't even a real sport). Oh, and America Cup(or whatever that idiotic boat race is) is way worse than car racing. You can't even tell who's winning, etc.

Don't get me started on sports...I could bore you forever ::yes:: .

cadburysmom that is what I love most about living close to London too. Seen as we are not going abroad this summer we plan to go to London overnight and see the Queen show. I didn't realise The witches of Eastwick was a stage show too until I saw it advertised. We were taking our friends to London to see a show (they had not been to the west end before and are not really theatre goers so we wanted to see a comedy and the show sounded funny). I am so glad we saw it, and our friends loved it too. So when are you coming to London then??;) I could take you to our theatre too (DH is the ICT manager there - just voluntary, not a paid job.)

TalkisCheapyou don't like football   Have you seen the England football team:hyper: :hyper: (I am talking their skill at playing and their legs in shorts!!) When England play football the whole country comes to a stand still!! Football is the one sport I love to watch (along with tennis)

michealowen.jpg

OK, here is a picture of Michael Owen (much better than Beckham IMHO). He is good looking and a really nice guy. He bought all the houses in one street for himself and his family to live in!

DANAUK, it looks like we are on the same quest!

I'm sorry, but baseballs players just DON'T look like this!

Mmmmmm, I'll take him with a glass of Chianti and some f-f-f-f-fava beans.

Well I seem to be talking to myself!! Plus it is late (nearly 11:30) so it is time for bed. I'll see you guys in the morning. Breakfast will be served in the English tea garden.
Have a great evening everyone.
