Took me a while to catch up and now I don't have much time to play.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_9_4.gif' border=0></a>

I knew I would have a hard time describing my ring, it is a set type. It looks like this one only in yellow gold.

The band that goes with it has two diamonds which are set in the middle and fit right under the main stone. I love my ring. Lately I wear more white gold than yellow gold so sometimes I wish it were white gold, or better yet, platinum. But I wouldn't want to trade it for the world.

What's going on besides wedding rings and gay marriages and new gardens surrounding our mansion?

QOTD How long were you engaged before you were married? DH and I were engaged for 3 years!

QOTD: Pete and I were engaged for 18 months. We set the wedding date as soon as we were engaged for the month after I had finished by teaching certificate. We were together 4 years before we married though. We met during my first week at university when I was 18 and married when I was just turned 22.

Did you say you need a shopping partner RRBB? Are you following the helpful advice I gave the other day? Now, who was it that was suffering from this rare disorder? Was it you? No, I think I was helping someone else.

Fess up! I can't remember who it was!

Dh and I started dating when I was 15!

We got engaged when I was 16!
(no Mom and Dad didn't know, I took the ring off around them)

We got married right after I turned 19!

We've been married 16 years now!

DH and I met when I was in high school (18) and he was a paramedic (28) we dated, broke up, he married a w***e (sorry, but she is) then she left him for another. I found his broken soul and we have be together for 7 years June 14th!

.....I have a few more to add too.....can't let llebrekniT,DHB, Flunky Chucklesniffer(oops Kadaten) and the ORANGE
Divas hog the Photo Albums! :teeth:

kadaten , don't worry about Walt.
 I guess it's very common for the second child to start talking later. Eric could say three word sentences at 18 months, so when Hunter didn't say much at that age, I was worried. They are all so different. ::yes::

Gotta go peeps!

Danauk, what do you think about having a Disney topiaries section of the garden? Want me to help you find some?

Tonight's dinner will be ravioli with Emeril's Roasted Garlic sauce. Have you ever had it? It rocks! It's got kick that's for sure. I am cooking some italian sausage to go in it for Dh, he has to have MEAT! Lord help me if I present him with a meal with no meat in it. He eats healthy all day long. Raw broccoli, raw carrots, yogurt, banana, an occassional apple. That's it. And he works really, really hard. So when he gets home - he wants MEAT!

See ya!:wave2:

Ooh yes please, that would be nice. I was planning a herb garden near the kitchen so we could have some topiaries around that to make it look good.

Lovely ring llebrekniT.

QOTD: ohanafamily proposed to me 8 months before we got married. If it had been up to his mother it would have been a much shorter engagement. But I needed time to plan MY wedding. Plus I had to take into consideration when my sisters could travel here. One had a baby 6 months before our wedding and I couldn't imagine her travelling with him much before that. The other had two kids in school and I'd have hated making her take them out for my wedding. Plus I wanted at least one of my sisters to be around to help with last minute stuff. As it turned out, my older sister and nieces were able to come in 3 weeks before our wedding and participate in all our "parties".

Here's a picture of my nephew's first dance. Wasn't I lucky he chose to dance with me. :teeth:

Oh, the years look so familiar to me....

Met ex-husband 6/85
Got engaged 12/89
Got married 5/90

We're divorced now, of course, but you and I had weddings sooo close together...it's kinda weird.....

Yup, it's me. I really don't like shopping. Well, that's not totally true. Sometimes I'm in a total shopping mood and can't stop for weeks. But most of the time it's a real chore. And not only do I have to go out and get some new clothes for our trip to WDW, but when we get back I'm gonna have to go shopping for a formal dress. MIL&FIL's 50th anniversary party is black tie. Oy, what am I going to do for that?????

I love your dress!!!! I wish I had a scanner so I could post a pic of mine. I do have all the negatives from our wedding photographer. I suppose I should have them put on a disk, huh? Maybe I'll have that done this week.

Danauk, I have an idea. Maybe we could get some of the beautiful topiaries from the Flower and Garden show at Epcot after it ends in June. I'm sure they wouldn't mind giving us some of them for our garden on the island. ::yes::

Oh, please do!

I love looking at wedding pictures, or any pictures at all for that matter. When I'm in someone else's house, I'm glued to their pictures....guess I'm a little nosy but it's always so interesting!::yes::

Thanks, I loved my dress too. But a few people thought I should have something striaghter or at least make the skirt not so "poofy". Uh, no. I got married at 37 so I knew what I wanted. Now if I were 18, 19, 20, maybe they could have swayed me. But not when I'd already lived my own life, made my own decisions, paid my own bills...

Yes, you definitely should do something to preserve those negatives. I still haven't ordered our wedding album even though it's paid for. For the longest time I got really annoyed whenever I'd look at the proofs because there were some specific photos I wanted taken but because certain people thought they could run the show, they never got taken. But please, don't get me started on this. (It will only hurt ohanafamily's feelings.)
