Um....what kinda dog IS Bill, breedwise.....I realize he's the Prince of Darkness and all, but he does look kinda chocolate-brown like the great Cadbury dog so he must have SOME goodness in him.....;)

Nope, he's born from the womb of Satan's bride.

He's half black lab and half short and fat or corgi. You decide. When he's laying on his belly, surveying his land, he looks like a lab with the big head, the long bushy tail, the thick chest and the super shiny black coat and root beer brown eyes. You think to yourself, "Self, that is one strong lookin' dog."

Then his highness stretches and stands to greet you. And you think to yourself, "Good God in heaven, what's happened to his legs? What has happened to his LEGS?!"

He's got short fat stubby legs. Maybe that's why he's chronically evil? Never thought of that.

Speaking of PS arrangements, Joe and I were talking and we've decided we want to do the following:

Cape May Cafe clam bake - did it at our last trip and thought it was fun and food was decent. Clams were chewy (and tasty) but everything else was good.

Brown Derby - must... have... cobb... salad

Portobello's - Joe loves the parmesan encrusted steak and I drool over the rare tuna steak wrapped in prosciutto. They also make excellent martini's, best in the world! A very mildly dirty martini with Chopin vodka and gorgonzola stuffed olives please!

Fulton's - yeah, yeah... I heard all the griping about the service, etc... but I love the lobster! I eat lobster once or twice a year so I order the largest that they've got!

MNSSHP - no costume this year though!

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I was a little dissapointed in Cape May last month and I can't exactly say why. Hadn't been there in a few trips, so maybe just my memories of it were a little out of proportion to reality. But halfway through the meal I thought...."Should have gone to Boma"
Brown Derby is on the list for October...haven't had the cobb salad in the last few trips, and I'm WANTING IT! I've never eaten at Portobellos or Fultons....should I put them on the list? I'm ALWAYS up for a good steak, especially with a martini!

My suggestion.....add BOMA to that list, or JIKO if you want another high-end dining experience (and I had a really tasty apple martini there).

Please direct any comments of shock or dismay at Billysotherdad aka Joe. It is not often I allow him to make decisions with respect to our Disney trips, but this is one he made himself. In fact, I invite any comments sent to his attention ASAP.

Thank you.
Will do. ::yes:: W estill have a few months to change his mind, so we'll start working on him now.

That would be much appreciated. In fact, I urge you and all TAG members to begin a PM writing campaign or at the very least, a petition of sorts.

Have a nice day and good luck in your mission should you choose to except it.

Thank you.

I've actually always wanted to eat at both. I looked at the menu's on another site that shall remain nameless and realized Joe would be very, very hard pressed to find anything he'd want to eat. He's not picky, just not adventurous.

In all honesty, I'm not sure I can join the campaign, as I won't be taking a costume in October either. Although if PixieMagic were at all interested and willing, I could be talked into it.

um...sorry.....with the fancy-smancy sepia colored photo of him under your username, he actually looked brown.....should've know better....from the womb of Satan's bride....must be kin to my ex-husband :rotfl:

I don't think Joe would have any problem finding something at Boma. I don't do spicy or exotic either. They have great soups (there's a chicken one lightly seasoned with curry that is to die for!). And there is always 'normal' meat at the carving station as well as some more 'interesting' options. And dessert, well the zebra domes and chocolate mousse thingies and worth the trip. However, if it still seems scary to Joe...there is always breakfast at Boma....a great way to start the day before heading over to AK for a morning safari!

Uh oh.....seven minutes behind schedule now...must hit the shower!

Okay folks, it has recently come to our attention that one of our newer TAGLIKINS - billysotherdad to be exact - has decided to attend MNSSHP sans costume.

It is our duty, our responsibility to change his mind over the next few months. So all TAGLIKINS who believe billysotherdad and RickinNYC should walk MNSSHP IN costume, please raise your hand now.

(Maybe the whole problem is no idea what to wear. So lets give these guys costume suggestions, too. ::yes:: )

I LOVE PORTOBELLO YACHT CLUB!!!! :Pinkbounc We usually don't do Italian when we travel, because we are spoiled up here with Italian restaurants, but PYC has some great northern Italian cuisine.

Have you ever been to Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge? Another great and interesting restaurant.

Last time Rob was down there he ate at Bongo's. He's been talking about try to cook Cuban food ever since then.

So, all of you think that you can make me change my mind! Go for it! Try! Joe sans constume! heck yeah.

Honestly, I said it to Rick, but you ask Rick about our Disney travel, and see what really happens. I still have all the pieces of last years' pirate costume if I wanted to get dressed up, but I already made a choice to wear none. I'm there for the CANDY. That's all I want. CANDY. FREE CANDY!

And, as for Bill, (and me) what, in the name of jumpin' jahosofat is wrong with stubby legs!

If I chose to put my stubby legs into a costume or not...no one can make me change my mind.

But try if you dare!

What's this place that I wouldn't want to try. I didn't see a description on the board, unless I missed it. Where is it, what is it? Is it all SOY FOOD, 'cause, then...YUK. Please elaborate.

Billysotherdad, my DS wouldn't wear a costume when we were there last time (he was 6 at the time) and we let him carry his blanket around and told everyone he was Linus.

Can I borrow his blanket? ;)

Hey Joe, do you want to borrow my son's lederhosen?

(okay so I'm looking for excuses to post more pics. :teeth: )

Oh Look!!!! It's my favorite ride at Epcot! Becks Run at the Germany pavillion! ;) (BTW, my thighs are not that fat--it's an optical illusion.)
