Yep billysotherdad, you make a pretty good internet boyfriend for me. I love concerts. Not country music so much, but I LOVE CONCERTS!! I like bluegrass music, just not country.

Well, we can go to concerts together...I'll give you a full report if you do likewise and it'll be like the other was there! Do you like Allison Kraus and Union Station? I think her voice is effortless. It's like she just opens that mouth and the most beautiful sound comes out, and I sit in awe when she sings, just hearing that gorgeous voice!

As for screaming girl movies...well, I've been trained very well. I've seen almost all of them. ALMOST. But Rick will spend his weekend delerious over screaming girl movies, while I cowboy up.

Yup, 2 people did. (And that includes yourself. :p)

Anyone else care to know how many people chose them correctly??? Well even if you don't, here it is...

2) billysotherdad - 7 correct identifications
3) ohanafamily - 1 correct identifications
18) Lewski709 - 7 correct identifications

Looks we billysotherdad and I were the easiest to pick cuz we are so personable. :teeth:

See that people, ohanafamily had one correct identification. Guess who guessed him right?????

Only trying to show her some patience, that's why I was mentioning it to your DSIL. :teeth: She sure is pushing Nephosaurus to get her prize to her quickly. I have a suggestion.....if you are stumped as to what to send, chocolate works quite well.

Hey RickinNYC thanks for all you do, today and every day!

Today is Hunger Awareness Day and I just thought I'd say - "HEY, Thanks!".

billysotherdad, when were you at the Grand Old Opry? Who was sangin' that night? We just moved from Nashville up to Yankeeland two years ago, and that place is crawling with country music folks, isn't it? You may have read this here before, but since I am addlepated about being set up by llebrekniT last night, I can't remember. My best friend, Christie, sang back-up for Bobby Goldsboro and then with Kathy Mattea. Kathy and I were bridesmaid in her wedding. ( I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and I was a scary-looking chick.) Christie's sister sang back up for Elvis until he died. No joke! I was backstage for a Kathy Mattea/George Strait concert. Want my autograph??? ;) Oh, and DH just bought a Martin guitar signed by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw at a Red Cross charity auction in February. Who are your favorite artists?

llebrekniT - girl, how's your ??? Is it feeling a little stretched today? I did NOT tink your cabana boy. That was geffric!!! You must have been in the brew, too, because if you will think back, I had MEL with me. I had not need of your scrawny little cabana boy!! ;) Further, I can't swim, so skinnying is not high in my book of thrills. I'm sorry you feel like you can't show your face at the Poly ... those bushes I used to hide in by the hot tub are available, unless nakedtaglikidLewskiwhoistaglesstothisdayeventhoughithinksheshouldbetaggedanunderthegruffcreampuff is hiding there.

:teeth:

oh, and I do appreciate the bail-out ... it was the least you could do. Hope Daniel hit 6 home runs!

Awwww! Thanks so much! That was so nice!

And yep, today is National Hunger Awareness Day, hence my going a tad insane. But all was worth it! I had volunteers all over the city performing different projects so I was on my mobile quite a bit.

All while I was in the Bronx at Yankee Stadium, collecting food from individual donors, while handing out Teddy Bears. It was fun but boy are my feet tired from standing!

And here's the neat news!! The Yankees presented us with a check for $100,000 just before the game started! Well, knock me down and call me Susie I was so surprised! :bounce:

Hey everyone.

I must confess ,I skimmed! Anything big happen while I was off at the docs??

First off Congrats to TINKBACKWARDS for winning the contest. I was a close 17th!! heheh

Good luck on all the ball games tonight everyone.

What in the heck did ILUVTINK do to get you kicked out of the POLY??? You bbbaaadddd girl.

Congrat on the big bucks RICK!!

Joe, I also was right in guessing you. I thought you might be a country music fan!! Love the boots!
off to eat doinner. Dh cooked for me. He loves me!!

Well I'm back from the first Sound of Music rehearsal and boy is the singing going to be hard, of course it is all in Latin!! I don't speak Latin!! Anyhow as I can read music and so can hold a line of music quite well I was put on the hardest part to sing and asked to lead the group. Great everyone was to listen to me to make sure they get the line of music right (no presure then  ) Oh well I guess I will just have to concentrate really hard!

So what are other people doing this evening?
Lewski709 I hope you have a great ball game.

Oh well I guess I had better go and catch up on the programme I recorded whilst I was out.

, unfortunately what you described on Passions sounds about right. I didn't see it (thankfully), but they do that kind of stuff all the time. I can't bear to watch it for more than about 5 minutes/day. Oh, I have stayed at OKW twice. Both times in 2BR Villas & both times with llebrekniT. I probably don't know as much about it as geffric, but I know we loved it. We stayed way in the back. On the golf course. We ate at Olivia's once for breakfast (character meal) & I think once for lunch. It was good. We'd stay there again except there is not enough room for everyone in a 2BR villa & we don't have the $$$ for a Grand Villa.

regarding passions: i really couldn't believe that people watch this stuff...I mean i used to be a big fan of Days but i can't watch it anymore and i mean it was stupid in most ways, but passions, passions really takes the cake for that!

I think we are staying in a 2BR toward the front...but im not sure. I think we'll probably eat at olivia's at least 3 times, because we have 2 character breakfasts booked. I can't wait to see what it's like...i wonder how different it is than the boardwalk?

:)

danauk what part do you play in the sound of music?? ***nevermind i just went back to read posts and i found out**** I was going to do the school musical this year (joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat) but i decided against it....

hmm.....well i should be going to study for a biochem test tomorrow...joy!
:)

I did Joseph last year. We did the school version at my school which was great. Then 7 schools got together and did the full version. We performed it at our local theatre which I work at in my spare time. As I knew the theatre well and how a stage works I had to stage manage the show. Basically I was in charge of 150 kids aged 7 - 11 on the stage!! It was terrifying yet amazing at the same time! The girl who played Joseph though was amazing. She was only 10 but had the most amazing voice I have ever heard. I wished I could sing like her.

Depplyinluv good luck on your test tomorrow. DH has an exam tomorrow too, a computer exam which has a pass rate of 85%

we have so many amazing voice talents in our school and all of them were in the play...which is partly why i didn't do it, my doubt of my singing abilities ...i cant really sing, but i like to think i do:)

Good luck to you DH!!!!:hyper:

the science tests we have are super hard because the teacher puts things on there that we've never learned before and expects us to know it... but I know most of the stuff so i shouldnt do bad..:(
