I'm too old. They didn't have cameras when I was a baby.
I don't believe that. I have baby pictures of my grandfather, and he was born in 1911. Are you older than that????? I think NOT!!! ;)

Boardwalk - never been. DH went to dinner at Flying Fish (by himself as he was down there on business) and he loved it. Expensive. But I think it wasn't the food that made the experience, it was the blonde dentist he sat next to at the bar. We'll save that story for another time. Spoodles is supposed to be good.

Adventurers Club - went once a long time ago, maybe honeymoon in 1990. Was fun. Is the Neon Armidillo still around?
Um, never heard of the Neon Armadillo but haven't spent a lot of time on PI or the Boardwalk, either. Was that a club? If it was at PI, then no....the current ones can be found here...

Eer iluvtink school isn't almost over in England. We don't break up until the 15th July!! Then we have 5 1/2 weeks off. Our school year goes from the beginning of September to the middle of July. We do have 2 more weeks of school and then a week off though (then 6 weeks of school after that before the summer holiday.)

All this talk about Disney World is DRIVING ME CRAZY!

I haven't been back home from our trip that long and I am soooo aching to go back already.

Ella drug out the Disney photo albums last night and still wanted to sit and look at them all morning today. I had cleaning to do, so being the good mommy that I am, I put in the home video from our last trip and let her watch it. That didn't help me any. I want to go back!

It can't be that bad there in early August, can it? It's always really hot and humid here in Aug., so surely we could handle it. Oct. is just too far away.

I can't stay and play. The school called and said I needed to pick Holly up. Her stomach had started hurting and her teacher said she sent two kids home with that yesterday and they didn't return today. I brought her home and put her to bed and am waiting to see if it was just the heat (it's in the upper 80's here) or if she will be throwing up soon...

Have a nice rest of the day everybody!

How about the end of July ??? We'll be there July 29, 30, and 31st ... leaving Aug. 1 for the Wonder. Think you might be there then? huh? maybe, huh?think you might???? :teeth:

Hi everyone! :wave2:

So, ahem, I have :o an embarrassing question for the TAGLIKINS, um, how to put this, well, there has been a rash of new tags dusted on all those deserving souls here at the DIS and well, ahem, it appears that I have not provided enough reason to the TAG FAIRY to don one upon me. I have never begged inapropriately, have been quite gracious to those seeking congratulations on their new ones, but yet, I seem to not be Tagerific.

So I hopped on over to the Godiva store, picked up some chocolate

and I also brought some tokens from our current Homeless Dis'r sailings (we're currently in Costa Rica on our cruise)

CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP

Hopefully this will make me stand out to the TAG FAIRY

I was loathe to do this and break up your conversations, but I think I may have offended the TAG FAIRY by not ever offering him/her any gifts from our travels. She/he and all TAGLIKINS, are more than welcome to come on over and partake of our spa and private masseuses.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming. I am sorry to butt in here. :wave2:

You can come with us in 2 weeks. So far everyone else we've invited to join us has found reasons to turn us down. :(

We call the summer months in FL "ungodly" by which we really mean HELLISH....as in "hot as hell"....

Yes, I want to move to FL, but the heat/humidity of the summer can be nearly unbearable. (Still better than cold and snow) But we don't do the parks very much at all in the summer....and if we do, it's only to be there....we don't try to "do" anything but stay cool....and maybe catch a good meal. But NO standing in long lines (so fewer rides done) and NO hurrying to make anything....and NO all-day type days...it just gets TOO hot for all that. Sorry.

October is much better! My favorite time to go, weather-wise!!

Umm....let me ask my MIL! No, really...I have to have my garage sale so my DH can have his spot back or he may kick my van out  OH well....have fun without me!!

RRBB and iluvtink, I am just running my mouth, dreaming out loud. I ain't goin' nowhere.

Now I am thinking about the week between Christmas and New Year, the busiest time of the entire year. Clearly I have lost my mind.

I just thought I would check in to see what was going on and I found we were on page 2
Las Vegas is on in 15 minutes which is my new favourite show (after Friends, we still have 3 more episodes over here. So what are people doing this evening? I plan to watch Las Vegas and then go to bed. I'll check back in later.

Not sure if this is on topic or not.. since I haven't read the back posts but.. we have been in August several times.. not terrible bad.. if you do early am.. leave to pool it or be in AC in the afternoon and back to the parks from 4 pm on...

Also, If I had UNLIMITED VACATION TIME... I would join everyone.. remember the more times you go the cheaper the AP is:rolleyes: and I am always about getting the most for my $$$..

If anyone wants to join us we are at WDW for the first 2 weeks of July.. Tinkbackwards.. I hate being at WDW Xmas time.. way too crowded...

While we're on the subject of Halloween.... In the original Halloween, Lindsay and Tommy (the little boy and girl) were watching a horrow movie show. Which show were they watching (six straight hours of horrow movies) and which movie were they watching?

They were watching the orginal version of The Thing!

Nuts! I think it was something like Chiller Theater.
