ATTENTION ALL OCTOBER TAG MEET PARTICIPANTS

Please see the following link regarding MNSSHP.

http://disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=560506&perpage=15&pagenumber=1

Are we going to attempt attending the same night? If so, we need to know if the 'goils' want to attend, as it would then HAVE to be on Tue 10/12 (assuming they are departing Wed). Please note that MK park admission is NOT REQUIRED...you can enter MK as early as 4PM on your MNSSHP ticket....this information provided in case BBarb for example, ends up only purchasing single park tickets as noted in one earlier scenario. If the 'goils' do not wish to attend, then Thu 10/14 is an option.

ALSO....you can make PS's at Liberty Tree Tavern NOW, when you buy your tickets. This is the only restaurant where the characters dress in costume. We need to discuss if any of us want dinner together there (or Crystal Palace).

This is the one part of the TAG MEET that can be handled right now. Let's discuss..............................
COUNT ME IN!!!!

And I'm a GOIL so it looks like Tuesday 10/12.....is that alright with everyone else who's going? How 'bout you other GOILS? Barb? Lewski? Were you planning on doing MNSSHP??

As for dinner, I love Liberty Tree, so I vote yes!

Wow! Sure is quiet in here....wonder if everyone else is having trouble logging on like I was earlier? Well whatever it is, it's kinda spooky in here....going to go check out another board and will come back later...

hi... I am MN... how is every one?? Did you all have a nice MOM's day.. etc... I am going to read and catch up.. see ya in the HOT TUB>>>

NC Belle married me as you can plainly see,
So with the Rainbow Dust, please sprinkle me.

I'll dance a jig and kiss a pig
I'll also wear a purple wig.

Without a tag I feel so bare,
Like skiing in my underwear.

Part 2:

Tag Fairy, sweet Tag Fairy
What must NC Beast do---
Make Candy Floss more airy
Or hold his breath until blue...

Swim the oceans
Cause more commotions
Give you unlimited Mickey Bars,
Or some London's finest Mars

Scan his face
Or some other place....
Tonight is not right
For such a sight

I'm back. Had to go eat dinner, don't cha know. What 'time' did you use on your countdown timer for the Oct trip. I haven't built one yet since I didn't know exactly when I was leaving (as in flight times). It would be fun to have our timers match, so would you let me know?

geffric I'll join you in the hot tub.....a quiet evening around the pool sounds kind of nice after all the parties and celebrating we've been doing lately.

Think I'll mosey over and see if there are any fun new trip reports to read. I'll check back in before bedtime in case any of you are up late!

How I wonder who the Tag Fairies are
Up above and through the sky
Quite a mystery to my eye~*~*~*~

I bid thee adieu
since there is not much to do
Until dawn breaks over the yonder
Though the wonder
Of my fellow Taglican
When I type again

I used October 9, 2004, 7:00am--that's when my flight leaves if we decide on that date....us "goils" are still trying to nail down whether to go Sat or Sun...me, I'm hoping for Sat, of course ;)

Now trying to figure out if I can somehow work an extra day on the front or back end of this so I can go neighborhood shopping in Tampa :) We move in June and in the past have been close enough to do several house-hunting trips....first one to find a preferred area and then another 2 to look at/write contracts on houses. With it being 800+ miles here to there, plus having the kids to tag along, that doesn't look doable this time. Would be a shame not to use some of the kidless time to look at neighborhoods since I'll only be 1 hour away! But this would mean adding a rental car....more $$. Yuck.

Nice poetry tonight, NC Belle!! If it works, you may inspire other secret bards to come out of the closet! YIKES! Not sure if we could stand too many of them....but you and NC Beast are cute :)

See page 482.

Katie, if you are staying longer, and would need to rent a car, be sure and check into flights to Tampa. The drive to WDW is nearly equal (sometimes feels like it's quicker) than from Orlando. We use Tampa sometimes because we can get better airline deals also. But you would definately only do this if you were renting a car (and you 'goils' could also do an outlet mall run if you wanted to ::yes:: if you had wheels). Then you could do your neighborhhod hunting at the front or back end of your trip...also maybe pick up Lew/Barb at MCO. I know PixieMagic has gotten some good car rental deals and when you figure what the cost of possibly three separate town car transports would be round trip, it might be a viable alternative.
Actually, airline deals is what will determine where we fly to (even though we'd prefer Orlando this time)....saving $50/per person off airfare adds $$ into the 'activities' fund.

OK, bedtime for me.
Nighty night!

Good morning everyone,
I'm up extra early this morning as DH had to leave for work at 6:15am and I thought if I didn't get up as he left I would fall back to sleep and be late for work. So here I am at 6:40am typing away and ready for work when I don't have to leave for over an hour!!
I have made an extra large breakfast this morning as i have had loads of time. There is pasteries, waffles and fruit. Followed by a full English cooked breakfast with toast and jams. There is juice in the fridge and a fresh pot of tea and coffee on the side. ENJOY!!

I see the poems have continued, they sound great. As I said yesterday I am hopeless at poetry so I will happily sit back and read them :teeth:

Oh well I guess I could do a few jobs around the house. The bunnies need feeding and the dishwasher emptying.
I'll be back later, have a great day.

Thanks Danauk.
The breakfast is wonderful. I'm savoring a cup of Earl Grey along with my waffle and pastry.

I can smell the rashers (as my family in Galway, Ireland calls bacon), sausages and eggs. Have you ever been to Galway?

The Welshes are cattle farmers, and the O'Sullivans are builders and cattle/sheep farmers. They are crazy and alot of fun to :drinking1 a pint of Guinness with. They love a good party.

Good morning.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_6_114.gif' border=0></a>

Just a couple more weeks of school! Woohoo!

Last night's dinner was a little discomforting I have to say. Not the food, the company. Don't read this DHB, I'm about to talk badly of your older bro.

He's just, I don't know what to call him. He's an ***. But not in an outwardly mean way. He's superior, in his mind, to anyone and everyone. He knows everything and his opinion is the only one that matters. If he already knows about something, he has no interest in what you have to say about it.

DH was talking baseball with him and I thought "this is good, something they can talk about" because they really don't have a whole lot to discuss. He treats DH like he's the stupidest person ever born. Anyway, DH would try to carry the conversation, but Don just looked right past him. You can just tell that he's not listening.

DH asked "is Griffin going to play Tball?" Don said "I've talked to some people, they say it's best not to play Tball, it's best to go right into baseball." Huh? What about the kid being a kid and just having fun. Does he have to be in training already? He's just turning 5 this month. It was a ridiculous statement. He has probably talked to someone with the Cincinnati Reds organization, I bet you.

So it just really sunk in last night that there's no hope for our family and their family to ever really connect. He just looks at us like we're this redneck family that doesn't know the first thing past the Wal-Mart that was sitting next door to the restaurant. It's a shame.

My 5yr old is going to send me to the looney bin. Can anyone confirm that 5 is just a rotten BOYS age?

First of all I'm betting that he is a good boy, otherwise you wouldn't be noticing the behavior. With Daniel it has come in waves, at different points in his life. When he turned 4; the end of his first grade year; sometime around 9; and this last one was the worst, last fall. My mom always says it's his age, he's a good boy. Sound familiar? My advice, listen to your mom, mom's are usually pretty honest with you. If she says he's a good boy, he's a good boy.::yes::

Hanging him by the rafters is fun. Sending him to bed 15 min. early for each incidence is funner.

And saying "funner" in front of college grads who think they know everything is waayyy fun. Let me at 'em!

Good morning, I know how lonely you were without me yesterday,;) . Well the school metings went well for both kids. My DS will be in second grade next year!!! Though we have had tough times with him they all had such good things to say about him. Mother's Day was nice and quiet, both kids behaved themselves!! It's going to be a beautiful day here today. So what's new and exciting!

Good Morning!

llebrekniT, I read what you said about my big brother & I am so mad at you........for leaving one important thing out! My mom & dad think he knows everything, too! His opinion is the one that matters. I can say one thing & they'll say "I don't know". Don says it & they'll say "Absolutely!". Whatever. When I was deciding where to go to college, it ended up being his decision. He is something else.

I'm not sure which MNSSHP we are going to attend.

OK, I know this subject is old, but I really want to see Troy. I think it looks great! I love Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom & I really really love Eric Bana---hubba hubba!!!

Jessica Simpson, I really like her. However, I do not like the Pizza Hut commercial.

Well, I think I'm gonna go balance my checkbook. :(

Have a great day!

Oh and another thing about Don.

He makes plenty of money. P-l-e-n-t-y! Enough to afford a brand new, second home on a lake, a nice little vintage Mercedes collection, frequent trips here and there, and so on and so forth.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_6_6.gif' border=0></a>

Know what he got MIL for Mother's Day?

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_12_6.gif' border=0></a>

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_6_2v.gif' border=0></a>

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_12_10.gif' border=0></a>

$25 gift card to a local department store.

Thanks mom. For:

giving birth to me<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15_1_55.gif' border=0></a>

putting up with me, as I grew up to be quite a conceited ***<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_3_166.gif' border=0></a>

taking care of me when I was sick<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_6_3.gif' border=0></a>

always making sure I had nice clothes to keep up with my cool friends with lots more money than we had

putting me through college, even when times were very tough<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_12_8.gif' border=0></a>

providing me with a car all the way through college

Then, once I was married to a horrible, self-centered, inconsiderate woman named Nancy, you came up to our house in NJ and stayed for weeks after the birth of our first baby and even painted our house for us while you were there

and then when we moved back closer to home, you've spent countless weekends taking care of first one<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_1_65v.gif' border=0></a>, then two<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_4_107v.gif' border=0></a>, then three<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_4_108v.gif' border=0></a> of the most rotten kids on Earth

you never complained to me about how bad my brats are

you never beat my little demons, even though it would've given you great satisfaction, many, many times<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_9_137.gif' border=0></a>

you never told me how your back aches and how you've been bed-ridden with the pain after some of those weekends

you never told me how you mysteriously break out in hives after keeping my little hellions<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_6_2.gif' border=0></a>

you've never told me no, even though you wanted to most of the time<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_28_114.gif' border=0></a>

and even though I've missed most of the family dinners you've had, you still consider me your favorite<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/216v.gif' border=0></a>

you always say my name with a flair of pride in your voice

a simple phone call from me can really make your day better<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_1_54.gif' border=0></a>

you love me so much<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/11/11_1_206.gif' border=0></a>

For all this and more, I present you with a piece of plastic to get whatever your heart desires, up to $25.

OK, that may be the funniest post I have ever read in my life. I think it deserves it's own thread!

Good morning buds. TINKBACKWARDS I have to agree with DHB that is funny but sad too. Don't you think? I know mom didn't raise a self centered, stingy man, DHB is proof of that. Its that Nancypants-blast her <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/14/14_6_4.gif' border=0></a>

ODDBALL congrats onthe braceless face!! my dd is counting the days. In fact, I have to pay extra for her senior portraits so they can "erase" them. Go figure!!

You guys were too chatty yeterday and not enough time right now to catch up. Did I miss anything? I did see ODDBALL's post (couldn't miss it!!heeh)

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_4_73.gif' border=0></a>
