Hi TAGLIARCHY,

ibouncetoo - go for the gusto and the guy! It is karma that you're both there ... even if he's with someone else, he may wish he had been with you after the weekend! BTW, DH is staying at The Boulders. Do you know where that is? I asked him if he could see Camelback Mountain that was on your postcard and he says it's just beautiful! Sorry I couldn't be any help on your DL trip. Maybe next time! You're close enough to get to LA cheaply ... are you saving your pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, dollars for the summer 2005 cruise? Too bad they can't run a week long one, then a couple of 3 night ones, then a week one, etc. It's so darn expensive!

See ya later!:wave2:

The Boulders is at my end of the valley (north) and is very beautiful...he's actually very near Carefree and CaveCreek...two very small, very charming towns just north of Phoenix/Scottsdale. One of my favorite restaurants "The Satisfied Frog" is there...terrific FRIED CHICKEN!
Exchanged IM's with the guy this morning,he was adamant about making contact Friday night, even realizing he'd have to leave the park to meet in Downtown Disney. I just hope I don't get so delayed with my business meeting and PixieMagic's plane arrival that it doesn't happen.....though I'm willing to stay up pretty darn late to make sure it does!

Must race to work now.....will try and check in at lunch!

just blurrrrrinng by... everybody okay???

Lewski709, you can join us for Mother's Day. We're going to a country club for early lunch - buffet. There are a lot of us - ohanafamily's parents, his brother's and their families, us, and sometimes his parents have a few friends join us. What's a few more. Besides, if you're there I'll actually have someone to talk to besides ohanafamily. (I want nothing to do with his oldest brother and the Ice Queen, and even before they "got in our faces" last year I had nothing to talk to them about.) Just a word of warning though, it's usually a pretty quick meal even with that many people. They tend to sit down, eat, then leave right away. But if you and the boys join us, we can stick around and chat for a while. ;)
Sounds like a plan, now I better get in my vehicle and start driving. It'll take a couple days. :(

Are you sure they don't have property taxes in Florida? I know they don't have state income tax, but I thought they get you on the prop side. At least that's the way it works here in Texas - no income tax but horrendous prop taxes and sales tax that keeps going up.
They HAVE prop taxes and they ARE a bit higher.

Lewski709, I got home and RRBB was in the kitchen cooking, watching a "Show I don't Like" with the volume cranked. I went in and started to set the table and she plainly told me "Yes, I am watching this (I Mean Listening to this)". I said "I figured that because of the volume". I set the table and told her I was headed to check Lottery Tickets (No Winners) and play on the Dis with you and TreeSittin'ball27.

I will wait to be called for supper...Yummy smelling Soft Taco's!!!!!

Good control, very nice! I haven't gotten any new tags.....but I have the hots for Lancerguy. He's a cutie! ;)

What do you do about someone who you think is nice and kind and then turn out to be not so nice ? It has really been bothering me that I found out someone has just kinda been pretending to be a friend and really isnt . Do you "Out" this person and confront or just let it rest and hope that they see how really controlling and rude they are?
I usually just ignore them and don't let them know they bother me. ::yes:: Unless, of course, they really get under my skin....then I am inclined to speak my mind and nothing less. Was that helpful????

Well, I'm pretty dead. Seems like I keep missing the nighttime parties. After I read all the posts today, I think I picked a good afternoon to miss too ... How depressing, y'all, talking all about taxes and cost of living and such. I come here to forget all that junk!!!
Awwwwwwwwww...... we were talking about them in the thoughts of MOVING to make a better life. It was good talk! ::yes::

geffric do you know if Midway is open 24/7? I was thinking, maybe I could ride the South Shore to Chicawgo, we could have dinner and then I could hang out at Midway until the flight in the am. I don't mind being at the airport that long. I appreciate the offer to stay at your place (and the coupon...I got it). I don't like leaving my vehicle at the airports. One time, I came back to a broken window and missing tire...so I usually: take United Limo in, stay at a friends on Elston and ride the L or have someone drive me. To have someone drive me is a pain when the flight leaves at 6:30am. To stay at my friends and ride the L that early isn't an option, I don't want him to know specifically when I am going. So if the airport is open, I'd just hang out there.

Good afternoon everyone,
Thanks for the PD everyone, it paid off as it didn't rain until after school had finished so we did get outside for our PE lesson :D

llebrekniT's broken rib story got me thinking of a QOTD.

QOTD: How many bones have you broken?

I broke my arm at school when I was 5 (a boy pushed me off my chair and my teacher didn't believe me when I said my arm hurt and she made me dress in a skin tight leotard in the afternoon to do maypole dancing for the Lord Mayor of Leeds!! then I got chicken pox and all the spots were on my broken arm!!)
The I have broken my little finger on both hands, once playing football, the other playing basketball (On a geography trip when I was 17) which meant I could not take my piano or clarinet exam!!
Then I broke my little toe last year (I licked the bed accidentally!!)
So I guess my answer is 4.
llebrekniT I hope you feel better soon and the ache goes away.

I guess I had better go and make some dinner.
Later folks :wave2:

Sorry no color... I am completely monochomatic today, just a blahhead!

Lewski, I am 99.9% sure that Midway is open 24/7. It has really grown into a larger airport with 3 concourses. I was shocked at how big it was when we flew in last November. I looked on the webpage and it doesn't mention airport hours anywhere. Is Indy too far from you?

Danauk, yippee for no rain!

QOTD: I've never broken a bone. Knock on wood - (my head is closest thing available.)

The cleaning ladies came 1 hour early  and since I was DIS'ing for a while, I wasn't close to ready for them. But they are so sweet, they just went to pick up supplies and eat an early lunch and I was ready when they came back.

later... :)

Lewski709 i am no help on Midway since I live by O'hare.. but it isn't in the best area.. and I am not sure that they have flights there at night.. since it is in the middle of a residual area..

I was at Sam's last night after open house at the jr High and paid $2.50 for a gallon of milk.. the week before it was 1.74... the cows must have gotten a raise..

Gas is $2.04 by my house and by the Y it is $1.95.. sales tax is 8.75%..

back to work... TTFN

QOTD: no broken bones here

gas: DBF told me it's almost 2 bucks a gallon

IluTink, it is a zip-file, save it to your desktop and double click on it. it should open up and there is a program (I think it is IE6.exe or setup.exe, etc) Double click on that program.....

Depply, did I give you enough info... I like that Free Scanner better than Mcafee's because it disinfects as well.....

Back to work...

Just popping in--I was so zonked out last night that I missed supper and didn't notice NC Beast leaving. I must have been too comfortable stretching out in front of the tv. I missed the ending of the Bacholar and I woke up around 4:30 am.

I don't know what I want for lunch today, but I know that in 4 1/2 weeks--most of my meals are planned. :teeth:

I'm not sure that I really broke any bones, but I think I broke my big toe and didn't get it treated--its crooked. And I might have slightly fratured a couple of other toes.

Thanks, Ohana, I'll try that. Should I dump McAfee and get a better virus scan?

Update on 2005 California Disney Cruise:

I just spoke with DCL, and she said yesterday was an absolute zoo. A couple of the dates for next summer have already sold out, and the rooms were going so fast that the price increased on several of the dates $1,000 or more!! No wonder I got such a high price when I checked last night. If you know anyone considering this cruise seriously, tell them to HURRY!!!

Also, if anyone is considering cruising the Bahamas during Spring Break, I tried to get a family of 5 in for the March 26 7-day cruise, and all of the rooms accommodating 5 are already booked. There are not many connecting rooms left in Category 9. So ditto for anyone planning a Spring Break 205 cruise. HURRY!!!

iluvtink, the executable file is IE6setup. You might have to move everything into a new folder (drag it out of the zip folder to a new one).

I use Mcadee, tey are all good, but you must get the updates....

:bounce:

Oh, I forgot... Thanks for breakfast DanaUK...

It looks like I have had the most broken bones on the TAGLIARCHY so far!!

So what are your plans for this evening? I'm watching Friends followed by ER on TV (both new episodes). This is the one time I am glad the UK is a few weeks behind on Friends. We still have a few more episodes to go until the last one.
