Tagliarchy Island Part 2

Morning all. What? No one left me any horror/slasher movie trivia questions?

Anyway, I'm so excited! Joe and I were going to WDW from 9/23 to 10/3... 11 fun filled days! Only (SLIGHT) downside was that we were going to stay the first 10 nights at Pop Century. Not our #1 choice but we (rather, ME) wanted to stay for a super long time this go around. So we split our stay between PC and then the next five nights at Port Orleans French Quarter, one of our favorites.

Made the reservations and all was good. Was going to cost about $1,800 or so for the hotel and two 7 day park hopper plus passes.

NOW, due to the new package deal, we can stay at POFQ the entire trip and have UPH passes for $1,950!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!

I'm bouncing on the walls! This boy don't need no caffiene today!

quick post,

Ohana, yes, please e-mail to me. the link still won't work!

llebrekniT, Hooray for Daniel. I used to dream my DS would be a pro-ball player and support me in my old age. I pass that dream on to you!

cheeringmom - ylllk. moving is a pain. wish I lived closer to help out.

geffric - wow! I need a function so I can make this... hmmm... dinner club coming up - I'll ask to bring dessert!

dhb - I'll come get a 'rita after I take my 3 mile hike. I'll need it then.

California Cruise is not even up yet on the DTAgents' site!!!
geffric - ... you know the Magic is taking a 2-week cruise from Port Canaveral through the Panama Canal and up to Long Beach (?) Cal. in May, and then cruising down to Mexico in the summer, then taking a 2-week cruise back to Port Canaveral in the fall of 2005. ... if you win the lottery, why don't you take one of those two and bring the Tagliarchy with ya? :teeth:

:earsgirl:

Rick n Joe - Yeeee haaaa!

There was a movie I saw in 4th grade (before you were born, I believe) where a girl lay down in her canopy bed and looked up and a fiend was up there with a battleaxe type blade and he reached down and chopped her head off. That's all I remember of the whole movie, and I still hate to sleep in a canopy bed.

;)

Good morning everybody!

Mom's birthday was last week. So, YUP! You can be my TAGLIARCHY mommy!

Yep::yes:: I'd have been a teen mom! I actually got engaged the month you were born, wedding would have been the following October, just before I turned 20. Fortunately I realized I wasn't ready to take care of someone else, when I hadn't even been on my own yet, so we broke it off. Wisest decision I ever made. I was so naive and in hindsight I can say he was so wrong for me. (We 'check up' on each other through friends from the church in our home town....he actually lived in my parents neighborhood a few years later when he did get married).

Good morning everyone...
DH is leaving for Phoenix on a private plane or jet, instead of a commercial air liner... please send PD to the pilot... I know there's less chance of a terrorist on this flight, but I still get nervous with smaller planes/jets. :(

And he's arriving on a beautiful day! Is he flying into Phoenix, or one of the smaller airports in Scottsdale or Deer Valley? I'm right near the Deer Valley one and often go to the restaurant there for a quick bite. I sit at the window and watch the small planes and jets take off and land.

iluvtink, any idea when this movie was release? From what you've given me, it sounds like a half dozen movies!

There's more than one movie where a fiend cuts off a girl's head from the top of a canopy bed and uses a battleaxe to do it??? Ewwww...
let's see, I saw it in 1964-65 ... it was an old film, I think, a la Bela Lugosi horror film era perhaps, and I think I remember the name of the movie now...

Nuts! I think I may have been stumped! Is it an Italian movie that had been dubbed in English? I know Black Sabbath used a canopy bed as a major prop throughout.

RICK, here's a line for ya -- (whispering)

"Have you checked the children?"

Used to scare the hell outta me!

TB - Congrats to Dan and Daniel. Make sure you cut out the article and save it for Daniel. ::yes::

CHEERINGMOM - Across the street?! Please -- give us more info. Oh, you're moving on DH's 30th birthday. We'll be in Lake Placid thinking about you.

Hey RICK, wasn't Lake Placid a really bad horror movie?

It wasn't dubbed ... I wouldn't have been able to read the words fast enough!!! Want me to tell you what I think it was???

RICK, here's another. I asked DH for some ideas (he remembers details better than me).

It's a movie that opens with a shot of the desert. There's a lamp post (like a hanging light) swaying back and forth. Hint: It's in black and white. What is the movie?

Oh darn I don't have a scanner, my babies are so cute, don't mean to brag but people would stop me in the grocery store when I had DD with me. (Nose pointed in the air, I'm typing very haughtily;) ).

The comb in the back pocket, of course. That was probably the only fashionable thing I did. Let's just say me and fashion have never met.

Glad Beanie's ok from the trip to the vets.

The quote is from When A Stranger Calls starring Carol Kane and Charles Durning. A classic!

Lake Placid? I thought it was entertaining but kinda silly. I liked it! LOL!

I have absolutely no friggin' idea! More details!

Iluvtink, E-mail sent. It is in a Zip file... you may need to unzip it, but I think WinXP has an unzip built into it.....

Rick, I was never one for the horror flicks... Pea Soup in the Exorcist...Yuck...Sci-Fi, Yes, Loved it...Animation, Yup, There too.

:bounce:

I asked Rob if it has to do with spaceships. He said no, it has to do with nuclear radiation.

When a Stranger Calls really scared the heck out of me. My friends and I would freak each other out by threatening that we were going to prank phone call each other when we were babysitting.

Oooh, Dial "M" for Murder...Scry movie from my youth...
