Darn, ohanafamily just informed me that we WILL be getting together with his whole family for M.D. I was actually looking forward to NOT spending it with all of them, especially the Ice Queen and her entourage. Oh well, they usually start eating before everyone arrives and leave before most everyone else is finished anyway. (Sure hope this meal holds true to form. )

RRBB and OF, you rock! :bounce: I have to go home and look for a baby picture.

Just called the vet's office. Beanie the Meanie is doing well and will be able to go home after 4:00 p.m. (Gosh, I hope she doesn't have to wear a lampshade. I hate those things. Poor dogs bump into everything.)

Anyway, thanks for the pixie dust for Beanie. I don't mean to be ungrateful, but my checking account could use the dang PD more than Beanie. Okay, three weeks ago they went to the groomer to the tune of $70. Their well check two weeks ago was around $250. Then Otto had an ear problem last week. That was $87. Now this surgery should be around $200. ;) Thankfully I really love these darned dogs. ::yes::

Bichon Barb I'm glad Beanie is going to be OK. I know what you mean about animal costs. My two cats have to have annual injections, 6 monthly flea injections and worming tablets every 3 months. Plus as they are big cats they have to have larger doses. The problem is that as they are preventative meds the insurance won't cover it so we havr to pay outright. They have to be taken next weekend and I know it will be at least £80 per cat as they are due for all 3 treatments this time. It's a good job I love them!:cat: :cat:

Now off to find a baby photo!!

I don't have a scanner.... Boo Hoo!!!! i can't post a baby pic...

oh well off to find chocolate to console myself and and then find MORE CHOCOLATE for the B'day Girl...

Glad beanie is better.. don't you wish that one could get health insurance for pets???

Sorry that you have to endure the inlaws RRBB...Maybe it won't be so bad..

Jessie has two policies--one from Petsmart-a medical plan that we got for about $120 initial and $20 a month--this covered her spaying and most shots. We still pay extra for a couple shots, medicines, and expressing. The other is about $10 a month in case she gets injured or whatever.

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, cadburysmom!

Hi guys.

No scanner here and no copies of pictures either. Count me out too.

I need a good marinade recipe for some chicken. Does anybody out there have a Backyard Burger in your neck of the woods? I want to try and recreate my fav. sandwich from there and it's a grilled chicken sandwich with pineapple on it.

I'm off to scan the web...

But first -

llebrekniT - I missed reading your dream earlier ... I think that it simply had to do with how frustrated you were when MIL was sick and you couldn't help. That's why you tore into the nurse. Deadheadbelle was just the channeling agent for MIL ... and you probably wished it was NP instead. IMHO, Deadheadbelle, I believe you are safe traveling with your SIL (not NP).

Anyone looking for Airfare for October? ... Southwest just released fares into October. I just e-mailed Lewski709 ... Bichon Barb, are you here? Do you need tickets to Orlando in October? If you don't answer pretty quick, I'll e-mail you, too!

IluvTink, I think I got an ID on your virus...It has been out for a couple of months, and they just updated Stinger to get it.....

This should fix the problem.... (Hopefully)

Alas, it's the blank page story all over again, with "untitled" as the document title. :badpc:

Thanks anyway, ohanafamily. (I am doing this correctly... I just click on the link, right???)

ibouncetoo, duh, today is Tuesday. I thought it was Wednesday. Cal. Cruise announcement is tomorrow.

OMGoodness NCBELLE a GREAT pic of the can can girls. I'm going to make a copy for Sam if that is ok with you???? She was the "Queen of the Bowery" aka head can can girl in the last play. She will love it Thanks

OK, found a suitable picture, now I just need to wait for our new scanner to arrive that DH ordered last week (our other one decided to stop scanning!)

So another party tonight for cadburysmom's birthday. How about getting the cute guy from Las Vegas to bar tend tonight?

OK, I'm going to try to find a few more photos.

TTFN

Thanks for the heads up ILUVTINK. I have looked up the flights out of Chicago and e-mailed it to Lewski. Unfortunately, Southwest doesn't fly out of Syracuse. I'd have to drive 2.5 hours to Buffalo or 2 hours to Albany. Fuggetaboutdat!

Bichon Barb - I was afraid of that for you. I e'mailed Lewski, too, but with fares from Indianapolis. $59 each way if the times and dates work! I don't know if she's closer to Chicago or Indy, but now she has some economical choices.

PD to your checkbook. Glad Beanie is doing fine.

:) ILT

IluvTink, can you open e-mail attachments? I can e-mail you.....

Who wants more pictures of IASW?:p I can download some later on.

Bichon Barb--We are sending PD to Beanie for a quick recovery. Jessie was spayed at about 4.5 months old. She was tiny then compared to today (she was not even 20 lbs at that age). She winced when NC Beast mentioned today about spaying.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY cadburysmom!!!!

Enjoy your day!!
