Hey, Beanie got dropped off at the vet this morning at 8:00 a.m. She's either under the scalpal right now or in recovery. No more heat cycles in our house! (Recommendation -- if anyone ever gets a female puppy, have her spayed before her first heat--no really!!)

And I don't think I'll ever stop worrying about my own mother's Mother's Day.....calling the day mine is really just an afterthought, a very nice afterthought, but I think it's only natural to think of one's own mother first

I'm just having fun complaining. Mother's Day will be fun. We'll probably grill if it's a nice day. We'll sit on the patio with my parents and drink their wine.

But I really do always seem to be finding myself doing housework on Mother's Day. I've got to get out of that habit.

TB, we are having taco's and MAD4MICKEY'S beans tonight. toot -- toot -- toot. Last night we had these little cheese raviolis that I found at BJ's Wholesale frozen food dept. They were really good. And easy!

Yes.....today IS my birthday!

And I'm so excited because some friends are taking me to lunch and we'll sit around laughing and giggling til we have to pick our kids up from school One of these friends is even one of "your people" and I love him to death but he's not "manly" like you. We get nervous about what we wear around him because he likes to pick on people about their fashion sense.

Gotta run jump in the shower and get spiffied up for my big day!

To answer QOTD: Our mothers day was a while ago, so I can't really answer that one!

A baby photo competition sounds like fun. I'll have to find one and see if I can scan it on to my computer.

Oh well, I have kids books to mark so I guess I better get going!

1. Email your baby photo to swapper@bachosaurus.com by Wednesday, May 19 at 11:59pm (PDT). It must be a picture of you, not one of your kids!!!
2. On Saturday, May 22 Nieceosaurus will post all the baby pictures on http://www.tagliarchy.com/tagliarchy_baby_photo_contest.htm, before we leave for WDW. Each picture will be assigned a number.
3. Start studying all the baby photos.
4. PM your answer to Nieceosaurus - her PM box will be emptied out beforehand so there's no chance of it filling up - no later than Monday, May 31 at 11:59pm (PDT).
5. The winner is the person that gets the most correct answers and will be sent a wonderful prize, picked out especially for you by Nephosaurus. (In order to enter this game/win the prize, you must submit a baby picture of yourself to the game.)
