 OK guys so as you all know I am always getting stuck doing something I dont wanna do ! ( like Easter for 1 million people LOL) but here goes my rant anyway ...

We have our Wrestling banquet in 1 week . The Mom that was making the special center pieces called our coach and said " sorry I cant do them " she did this 2 days ago. So you know what is coming right .One of the other Moms spoke up and said she would do it IF I would help her . With all the other parents staring at me waiting for the answer I said "Well I guess I will help , but only HELP " Make a long story short my MIL owns a gift shop and a florist so I asked her to help us. Now the other Mom backed out tonight and my MIL and I are stuck making 25 candy bouqets . 10 have to be different and bigger and more special because they are for the Senior Wrestlers ...
HELP ME !!!!! I'm going crazy it is midnight and I am still hot glueing candy to sticks .

ohanafamily or RRBB
How do we go about getting into the TAG family photo album?

Here's my little fam-damly :)
kadatenfam.jpg

Across the row of horses we have DD-Abbie, DH behind her, then DNiece, the DS-Walt with me beside him (Just ignore the kid in the hat.) Not the greatest pic, but it'll do for now :)

Oh Mad4Mickey don't you just love folks who do that? It's as if they've been :space:
Sorry you're getting stuck picking up the pieces....

No advice, as I tend to get stuck in those situations a little too often myself....

Have some candy while you glue, though....a little sugar always make me feel a teeny bit better :mickeybar

 Nite y'all. It's way too late and mornin' comes early in this house (I'm talking sunrise...and we're pretty far east in our time zone, so it's usually about 6am :faint: (I know that's not all that early for folks who actually have to leave the house, but I mean really! We have nowhere to go until 9am!!) NOTE TO SELF: Get room-darkening shades next time I'm at Wally-World. Must put that on a sticky note and staple it to my forehead

Night ...... I shall be here when you come back in the morning . Still sitting in a pile of ribbon , sticks, candy , tissue paper and other junk.

QOTD: yes,I'm the picture of Nicole Kidman circa Moulin Rouge

no news on the thief who caused yesterday's roadblock

Morning all, croissants are on the table along with a selection of pasteries for breakfast.
I've had my interview and it went OK, I'm not sure though. Usually teaching interviews take a few hours as you quite often have to do a presentation or demonstrate a lesson which I don't mind as it shows what I can do. But as it was a new school there were no kids to teach or building to look around so it was just a 30 minute interview. I get really nervous and forget half of the things I wanted to tell them. I managed to remember most of the things though and bring them into my answers. The only other thing was that they are interviewing throughout the day so I don't know how many candidates there are and didn't meet them. You usually have a good idea of what chance you stand when you meet others, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see. They are going to phone this evening to let me know. If I don't get it I will be dissapointed but I will still have a job so it won't be the end of the world.
The good thing is that I was home by 10am and I have the rest of the day off work (and it is not raining) so I might go do a little pruning out the front of the house (I haven't touched the bushes yet). I don't want to go out though in case they ring (they didn't say a time). I guess I could get some planning done too (I feel guilty that I am at home when someone else is taking my class especially as we still get paid for days we are out on interviews).

I love the new smilies again.
At the moment one of my :cat: is  amongst the :flower: :daisy: :flower1:
The other :cat: is:drinking1 water from the :fish: pond (they refuse to have a water bowl!)

cadburysmom good luck with the laser tag party later I'm sure it will br great. I loved playing that when I was younger.

QOTD: I've never been to a psychic, it kind of freaks me out a little!

I'll be back later

You and DHB have been missed---real quiet around.:rockband:

cadburysmom-NC Beast and I are looking foward to meeting up with you and Jordan. Do you have something in mind?

QOTD: Has anyone been to WDW over a holiday weekend like Memorial Day?

My honeymoon was just after 7/4 and it was hot and crowded. I don't remember going on tooo many rides. I remember going on IASW several times, Dumbo once, Peter Pan once, Wild toad (I will miss it), tea cups, Tom Sawyer Island, the train, AE, TTA, and a couple more rides. This was before fastpass and there were only 3 parks. Does anyone remember going to Epcot and making ressie using video conferencing booths?

:badpc: -NC Beast at work;)

OK this is killing me now, just sitting around waiting for the phone to ring:bored: I can't go out as I don't know what time they will phone. Thinking about it though I won't surprised if I don't get it although I will be anoyed. I know I would be good for the job and would do it well but I get really nervous during interviews and probably don't come across as well as others. The trouble is that it will knock my confidence again and I won't apply for other jobs so will end up staying where I am. Which isn't too bad at the moment but next year I think I am going to be landed with the hardest class. These kids will be in their exam year (which is a lot of presure) plus this year group is known for having quite a few children with behaviour problems who have got away with an awful lot this year as their current teacher can't cope with them so they are getting worse. As I am the most expreienced teacher I think the boss will say I have to have them (even though I do not want to.) This is why I really want to leave.
Oh well, I'll just sit and wait (and keep jumping through the roof every time the phone goes....)
:fish: :fish: :fish:

To answer the QOTD: I have only been to WDW once last August for 2 weeks but it wasn't busy as most American schools had gone back (we went at the end of the month). DLP was busy last week though as it was Easter. We had to use fastpasses for most rides in the MK. The studios were OK but we went there early and most people had gone to the MK.

I have to catch up.. so. i will post later but

Morning all and i am making breakfast...

Chocolate crepes, strawberry crepes, or we can have chocolate strawberry crepes.. whatever you want.. coffee, hot choclste, fresh squezed OJ and hash browns on the side plus assorted fruit..

going to catch up now...

and BTW..

Danauk will they let you know about the job so soon??

They said they would let me know by this evening. The school is brand new and they are appointing 4 teachers to open the school with. They interviewed all day yesterday and took on 2 teachers for the 4 - 7 year olds. Today they are interviewing all day to take on 2 teachers for the 7 - 11 year olds.

Hi everybody!

Now that MIL is home, hopefully I'll be able to come around more often. I want to go over and clean for her and take them some food and I need to finish the kitchen wallpapering and I have to catch up on office work<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_4_100.gif' border=0></a>, but other than that, I should be able to get in here, I hope.

Danauk, I was reading through all the posts, waiting to get to the end to find out if you got the job, I can't stand it already! I hope you hear something soon. Try to be patient, I'm terribly impatient, good luck on it! I think it's funny you say this group of kids has some "bad ones" in it. It seems that it's always that way at my kid's schools. Some groups of kids are all really good and stay that way as they progress through the grade levels. Daniel's group of kids are all good kids. The year behind him, they have been trouble since K-garten. It must be something in the water the mom's were drinking while pregnant. All in all I would think the age of these kids you are going for would be a good age to teach, they have grown up a little, but are not "tweenies" yet.

Ok, maybe llebrekniT should call her and give it to her like it is. They can not be putting her under duress with their children.

Oh, don't worry about that. I've already said that there is NO WAY IN HELL that is going to happen. NP is having her tonsils out mid-May. Apparently the recovery for that is quite long. TOO BAD! That's not that far away and DMIL is not going up there that soon. She needs to rest and take it easy. NO kid chasing, especially that bunch. Her stints won't be removed until June. That says to me that she shouldn't be doing anything until then. No way, no how. This may be the straw that breaks the camel (or, llebrekniT's) back. I can see it coming... :sad2:

Time to start on this office work.

Back later!

P.S. New smilies are great, why the Spiderman:charac4:? I don't get it. Also, I wish that the smilie would go where your cursor is, not at the end of the post always. Annoying....

A couple more things,

I scanned through the posts really quick the last few days, so if by some strange chance anybody wanted me for anything and didn't put my name in color I may not have noticed.

I'm kind of out of the loop on what's going on with the swap... What's the hold up? I'm betting that Ohana and his dear wife RRBB are on the job, so who's dragging their feet? Huh? Fess up! CourtasanSatine, did you mail your package yet? Anyway, here's my opinion, if one of you guys haven't mailed it by now, just forget about it. We'll get you on the next one. It's no biggie. We just want our stuff already!

Who else was I gonna yell at?

Oh yeah... BOUNCIEball27! So, who's the hot guy of the week? I've got a new one, well he's not new, I'm just noticing him again. Matt Damon. What do you think of him? I think he's cuter than Ben, what do you think? Are you allowed to watch R movies?

Gotta run, phone's calling me!

Oh llebrekniT I quite like Matt Damon. Have you seen Oceans eleven? It is a great movie and it has Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and George Clooney in it!!

I'm still sitting here waiting for the phone to ring :bored: My stomach is churning so badly I can't face eating any lunch!!

Hey Danauk. Course I know that movie! Have you seen "Good Will Hunting". I love that movie so much.

So, what would be for lunch if you could eat?

I need to figure out what tonight's dinner should be....

Maybe we could take pizza over to MIL's house. Or I could try and fix something that I could transport over that both she will feel like eating and FIL will eat at all. He's very picky.
