Oh good, DHB. I'm glad you are not mad. I am the baby of the family too. My older brother (who, as I mentioned before, passed away three years ago) was schizophrenic. My mother did EVERYTHING for him. Too much actually. Most schizophrenics don't want to take their meds-it's just part of the paranoia. We should have been more "tough love" with him, but my mother catered to his every need. It drove me and my siblings nuts. But, I don't know how I would act if it were one of my kids, so I just tried my best to keep my mouth shut.

But, on a lighter note, I do believe that mothers treat their sons different than their daughters. Go ahead and deny it, but I think moms are tougher on their daughters. I see it with my MIL. Rob can do no wrong. But if one of her daughters does something she doesn't approve of, she'll let them know. Anyone agree?

Oh, BTW, went to the grocery store this morning. Grabbed a 12 pack of Corona Lights for this evening when DH gets home. I couldn't buy it because it was before noon. (Can't buy beer before noon in NYS.) I was so embarassed. I have to go back later.

Oh a CNA.....we call them butt wipers around here. No offense, that's the way they are treated by the nurses and they seriously don't get paid near enough. It's a hard job and anyone who does is has a huge heart. I could never do it. Not that my heart isn't big, just don't care to tend after and see all the suffering the elderly have to deal with. It's sad, but those people really make a difference in familes lives!

Okay, iluvtink. My mom is a Sag. She is the queen of honesty -- even when you don't want her to be honest with you. But she is warm and funny and would give anyone the shirt off her back (but first she'd have to lecture them about having no shirt on. )

Danauk, DH is a Cancerian. We are pretty compatible. We both are homebodies and love good food and good wine. He can change moods at the drop of a hat. Must be 'cause he is ruled by the moon. He's a bit lunar. LOL.

Taurus symbolizes the tangible, practical, fertile side of life. Taurus ruling planet is Venus which symbolizes the drive for sensual gratification and pleasure, ease and comfort. A true hedonist am I!

They like to do things at their own pace - generally slow - and they resent change and interfering. They seek stability, orderly incremental growth. Taureans are generally calm, quiet, steady and deliberate. They only believe what they see and only trust what their hands can touch, which can make them rather stubborn and unimaginative. Yup, but I don't know about quiet. And I still don't want to move to SE Florida!!

Taureans often have a green thumb, a sense of colors, textures and designs, and a deep or throaty, sensual melodious voice which they like to use for singing. They like quality and aesthetics but in a more practical than conceptual way. They can be "artsy" but they are more into craftsmanship than artistic creation. There are more Taurus potters, woodcarvers or country singers than there are Taurus cubic painters, abstract sculptors or progressive musicians.

"Practical", "realistic" are their buzzwords. Down-to-earth, they tend to live in the present and the future means "goals" to them, not "possibilities". They want things to be predictable and dependable. They like to be told way ahead of times if anything is to be changed. They need lots of time to adapt to new situations, and they need to do it on their own terms.

Taureans like comfort and ease. They are born to enjoy the pleasant things in life and to use their keen senses of taste, smell and touch. So they like good food, drinks, sweets, hugs, kisses, caresses, etc. Their tastes are refined but plain. They are not willing to compromise comfort, stability or quiet with any silly new idea, lofty cause or uncertain venture.

We get June Bugs.........imagine this............in JUNE.

We have Locusts this year, or they also call them secada's.

I had a June bug in the pit of my shirt one time, man it pinched me several times and there was blood. Not a pretty sight. He didn't have the guts to do that again though.

Leaving in a half an hour to take the dogs to Petco for grooming. My usually groomer is booked all next week, and I want to get them done before Oma and Opa doggysit next weekend. I hope they don't screw it up too badly. Well, I'm going to have them cut short, because Beanie has knots.

Rob called. He'll be home at about 4:30.

Just curious? Do you have any neck ailments? Do you hate bad smells? Do you like harmonious colors? And do you wear a lot of cotton and other soft fabrics?

Plus I posted a few pictures I took in Disneyland Paris for you guys to see as most of you have never been there they are on pages 246, 247 and 248. The MK there is very different to WDW but worth a look at.

"The castle is so neat looking" - Deadheadbelle you make me laugh. To an English girl that sounds so American!!

I remembered one other thing I was going to say earlier. Before I went someone on another thread made a comment about the way English people dress, well last week I saw some wierd fashions from main land European women. It seems the latest fashion from there is for women (and I mean of all ages from 20-50+) to wear knee length trousers (or pants to you) with black fish net stockings and boxing boots I'm no fashion guru but that just looked wrong (to me personally but I'm sure to them it looked good.)
