Well, everyone, going to go. DH is home (for a whopping 15 hours) and he brought the kids a new DVD so we're going to preview it. It's one of those Scholastic ones that animates popular children's books....The Scrambled States of America...she really took a liking to the map puzzle I got her awhile back, so she should like it

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Me, I'm going estate/garage sale-ing while DH has the kids for the morning Wish me luck finding treasures...

Of course she and BIL will have to discuss it - out of earshot of little ears of course - so I probably won't know anything until next week. I think she was floored by our offer to take the girls for the weekend, especially to WDW. If they can't make it, well ohanafamily and I still look forward to meeting you and your DS. (Oh yeah, Nieceosaurus and Nephosaurus are excited, too.)

Hi, CourtasanSatine---I was thinking about those resteraunts (except Japanese)---We loved the Rose and Crown on our honeymoon. We won't have too many big meals--breakfast will be meal replacement bars for the most of the trip-I'm not hungary in the am. I was considering a lunch at the Trails End on one of our days---I want to stay at the WL for the next time. We are getting the voucher deal at DAK--Flame Tree or the Tusker House. NC Beast wants to be spontaneous. I will try for some PSs this week---not sure about CRT for breakfast or lunch. I was wanting to eat at the Castle last time, but time/budget did not fit.

Hi everyone, I'm back from DLP I still have to catch up on the 70 pages you have filled whilst I have been away
The trip was great and I'll tell you more about it later when I sort my pictures out so I can share a few. I though I would share a few thoughts though. We stayed in the New York hotel which was a delux hotel, but not the top hotel (which is the Disneyland hotel right on the gates to the MK.) The hotel was nice but not very Disney (except there was always 2 costume characters in the lobby.) The hotel was designed by the same architect as the swan and dolphin so that should give you a little idea as to what it is like. We went into the parks and into Paris. The MK although smaller than the one at WDW I liked it a lot. The rides are newer and better, but also as it is smaller we tried some of the things that we would perhaps have skipped at WDW due to wanting to do other things e.g I loved the Alice in Wonderland maze and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. As the whole resort is smaller the hotels are near to one another. From our room we could see the 2 moderate hotels that were situated on the same lake as our hotel (we were upgraded at check in to a lake view room ) However this meant the hotels although were well theamed they didn't have a lot of theaming around them.
I really enjoyed my trip and would go again (I think 4 full days there is about right, 2 in MK, 1 in the studios and 1 to lounge around the resort and go shopping). I don't think it is very fair to compare WDW to DLP (even though you can't help but do this) as they are 2 very different resorts. If you get the chance to go I would say it was worth it.

ok I lied. liar liar pants on fire, I SKIMMED thru the 10 pages that is why the above info is probably all wrong. But only have a few minutes this am before the day oficially begins and wanted to see if you all talked about me!! Hehehehe BTW< do like being part of a FRIENDLY clique. I think we are most gracious to our visitors. Most stay. That should say something!! Gotta run.

Breakfast is being catered this morning from...um....ummm....Dennys????? ugh no. Lauren likes IHop so IHop it is!!
