As you may realize, I am in the jewelry business. One day I was looking through the scrap gold for something that got tossed in by accident. I found the item, but also was this butterfly necklace that had been sized badly and scrapped. I saved it from the fiery furnace for her. She likes the story almost as much as the necklace...

Hey everyone, I did try to pop in this morning but by mansion door would not open (OK I couldn't get the community board page to load before I went to work.) I'm feeling loads better today, I found out that they guy who got the job knows the headteacher so I probably didn't stand a chance to start with Never mind. I also think I was right about me getting the bad class next year as today the head asked me why I didn't get the job and I said it was because they gave it to someone with more experience, so she said well it would probably be a good idea for you then to have the exam class next year then to get more experience of that!! But that will be the bad class and I don't want them (well actually there are 5 kids I don't want who have been violent and abusive to members of staff in the past and I am not prepared to take that from a 10 year old!) If those kids are not in the class I will gladly have the rest of them.

QOTD: If I could live anywhere I would probably choose Australia. My Aunt used to own an equestrian centre in the bush just outside Sidney. I would quite like to live there.

What is my favourite jewelary: My DH bought me a pair of earrings, bracelet and necklace that match my engagemnt ring which I love. The only problem is they are worth a lot of money so I don't often dare to wear them!!

The weather here is lovely today (a bit like summer actually) which has made a nice change from the rain we have had recently. After work today it was still 22 degrees in my garden (when I got home at 4:45 - I thought as it was Friday I would leave earlier than usual as I usually leave at 5:30). So I changed into my vest top I bought at DLP and my cotton trousers and trimmed the bushes around the front of the house and finished off the weeding I started a few weeks ago.

Right now I'm just sitting and waiting for DH to get home as it takes him 45 minutes to drive from his school to home where as mine is only a 5 minute journey.

I think I better go and clean up the wine bottles from around the hot tub and take them to the recycling bin, or maybe we could get Hugh, George, Brad or Wills to do it if they are still around!!

OK I must go now as the keeps jumping on the keyboard I guess he wants his dinner. The other is still on the bed :sleep:. He hasn't been downstairs yet since he went up to bed last night!! He is one lazy !!

It's been a crazy week and I haven't had time to read all the posts but I did want to stop by and say hello. I truly have barely had a minute to spare all week and have missed all of you terribly.........I have a charity function to attend this evening and then, hooray, this crazy week will be over and I can "sit back and put my dogs up". I hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to getting home tonight, pouring myself a glass of wine and leisurely catching up on the the past few days.
