I thought of you today as I was standing in the checkout line in Walmart. They had a cd for sale called Monster 80's which, of course, had a lot of popular songs from the 80's. Wasn't it you who was making a special cd for DBF's birthday? If so, I hope this helps

Riding TOWER OF TERROR at Disneys California Adventure!

Have to go to LA on business on the 7th, and the station agreed to pick up hotel one night (we often just do turn-around trips) because I'm taking the LA people out for drinks and dinner. Too bad I can't get a good rate at any of the three Disney hotels, but I'll stay close by on the cheap and stay Sat night too. PixieMagic will fly over and join me for Sat and split hotel cost, so I'll only have to pay 1/2 hotel one night and my one day admission to DCA. Pretty cool huh? Of course, then there will be dinner at Goofy's Kitchen and the breakfast buffet at Storytellers Cafe in the Grand Californian......but I often eat most of my weekend meals out anyway!

Well, must pop over to family site on Yahoo groups....haven't even checked in with them since I've been back from WDW. Then I'm going to play in my swap bags and have a little chocolate treat before bed........I think something from Nephosaurus, as I've never had one of those yet!

Good for you.....I love the music from the 80's as it brings back good memories from high school and college. And both Janet Jackson and Prince were soooooo much better in the 80's.....it was before Prince changed his name to that weird symbol and Janet starting baring her breasts

I'm still working on planning--we are going to use a lot of counter service--and hopefully Beaches and Cream too. I was up all day until 3pm--had a long nap. I was excited about the hoppers coming. We had a cheap lunch at El Senor by the Lowesfood in Knightdale. NC Beast had a good size plate of fajitas for $5.

Just had to check the board one more time before I went to sleep. Never eaten at El Senor but it sounds yummy....I can't believe I'm still up but it's been an exciting day. I need to order my park tickets....did you do it by phone or thru the web site?

I got the tickets through Hotwire Savings Club--I'm going to order some meal vouchers this weekend. I don't know their rate on kid tickets---if you want me to look--let me know. They have 5, 6, and 7 day park hoppers pluses.

Thanks for the offer....I'm still trying to decide whether or not to get an AP. We will probably hit WDW again next January after our Disney Cruise and then maybe during Spring Break....very wishful thinking I know but just trying to think ahead and save a little $$$$.

cadburysmom--El Senor had a separate menu for lunch--quite reasonable. The sodas were $1.25 and its free refills.

I was thinking AP for a kid would be a better deal--We are not planning another WDW trip early enough for an AP.
