I'm really glad that your little one is better!!
But aren't you going to share the interesting things with us.
I read this book recently called A Complaint Free World. And right now, I'm taking the 21 day challenge, basically to not complain, and put a positive spin on things. (BTW, this book has totally changed my life, and that's just the simplified version.)
But since you asked, let's try to make this positive.
Today we have preschool. DS is certainly asserting his independence by being lax about eating breakfast. Perhaps this is to challenge me as to what I can figure out that the boy will eat before we leave.
This is a recurring theme on days that we have school. On Thursdays, it's extra challenging because he goes to my mom's, then to school, and she doesn't have time to get breakfast ready for him. Unfortunately, the time we leave for my mother's isn't really a natural breakfast time for him.
Why does this matter?
Every time that kid gets out of school he's STARVING!!!!

And although I'm a make your bed, lie in it kind of person, he's still four, and maybe doesn't get the whole concept. Plus we have a history of hungry people being cranky people in our family. No idea where he gets that from.
In the grand scheme of life, is this a big deal?
No.
But perhaps entertaining for you all!
