So do I. :sad2: Parents don't send their worst kids to school and keep the good ones at home. Every child that walks in the classroom is loved by someone. They are someone's baby. I need to treat them like that when they walk in my door.

THANK YOU! Want to move to my school district? ;) I'm sure you will learn to love winter. :rotfl:

I used to love winter. Until I went to upstate NY for Thanksgiving. I never had so much pain in the elbow I broke in my life. No winter for me. There are good teachers out there. You just have to find them.

Isn't it something how the cold effects your joints and muscles. :sad2:

SadieDog...are you watching the race? We are. If any of you are Keith Urban fans he is doing the opening show.

Of course! :car: I saw Keith Urban. I've never heard his music before, but he is talented. It must be so exciting to be only 18 and in the Daytona 500.

I also wish all teachers had that attitude. We've found some good ones and some not so good. This year, 2 out of her 3 teachers are understanding once I explained the situation.

Sadiedog - My two best friends and I always joke that our first children must have been our experimental ones because they all have something "wrong" with them. One has ADHD with severe anxiety (makes my DD look brave) and another has Asperger's. It's very nice to have close friends who understand what you are going through and realize it's not really that we are bad parents who did something wrong. Though we do love making jokes "Hey, maybe it was that time I dropped her off a 2-story building" or "I shouldn't have let him play with toxic waste." :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: That's my kind of humor. Well lets see, both my kids have something "wrong" with them. I bet I could come up with lots of reasons why. Maybe it was that Grateful Dead concert we took our daughter to when she was 3. :rotfl2:

OK...so remind me never to go to Disney on President's weekend again! The MK was mobbed! I hadn't seen the park that busy since Christmas week! Too many people to enjoy yourself. :sad2:

I guess the bad thing about living here and going all the time is you become very intolerant of lines. I won't wait more than 15 mins for anything because I can always come back some other day.
:headache:

...sooooo, I take it that you DIDN'T wanna be found.......hmmmmm??? :headache:

Hey look it's kimmar!....:cool2:

Going every other year but only in September can do that to you, too! Our three family trips have all been in September and I won't wait longer than about 15 minutes, either. Lines?....Eeww! Guess I'm gearing up to be a local, huh?!!:rotfl:

Yuck. I think I have that to look forward to in June, but when you are used to the lines at Carowinds, Disney seems a breeze anytime. I think the 4/3 deal has gotten more and more people in the parks too.

Birthday parties sure can tire you out, but hopefully you had fun.

We did. Ds exclaimed it as "the best birthday ever".

I was surprised when you said you were going there today. Many schools in the north including my town have off this week. Everyone is trying to escape winter. I wouldn't be able to stand it. Way too many people for me.

I don't feel so bad now that we didn't go. I am the same way about lines. If it's long, I'll just ride it next time.
