I definitely missed that memo. If I had known anything about it I would have stayed home.

I had half a chicken sandwich. I made a recipe that I got off one of the cooking threads here. It was really good. You brown chicken breast (after browning I let them simmer just a bit in some broth) then you add a package of onion soup mix a jar of apricot preserves and a bottle of Catalina dressing. I also thinly sliced some scallions. I simmered this on low for about 2 hours. Oh my goodness it was GOOD. Next time I'm going to make it in the crock pot and shred it for sandwiches. It makes a fantastic sandwich. I also made tink's crescent tolls with nutella the other night. Those are really yummy as well. I don't always like cake it can be to sweet. But with these rolls you get the yummy warm bread and then that chocolate and hazelnut center. YUMMY!!!

I'm freezing....just can't get that chill out of my bones.

I'm glad it's the weekend. Not that it changes my personal schedule much, but it's just more relaxed without having to be on the kids about homework and such!

Tonight on Animal Planet they are starting a new series called "Jockeys". Horse lover/rider that I am, I've been looking forward to it! I've never wanted to be an actual jockey, but I would love to have been an exercise rider.

We're looking at a campground outside DC in Maryland. They are open year-round and have cabins available. The cabins have no plumbing but they do have heat and electricity. Hotels down there are $$$$$$ !

I know it expensive. That's why I was hoping you had someone you could stay with. Hope the cabin works out.

I was just over on one of the Vegas forums. You think the DIS Community board can get ugly you haven't seen nothin'! Even the mods are mean. Someone asked a question about how to post pictures on their blog. I thought it was a good question - I don't know the answer either. The mod got on theircase about how it wasn't brain surgery and not understanding why people can't post their questions in the right forum. It was so mean and nasty I don't know if I want to go over there anymore.

There is no need for people to be rude. I don't know who to post pics either.

Boy was Walmart crazy busy. And it was full of rude people.

Sometimes a trip to Walmart is torture. I hate rude people.

Daycare this morning then my husband and I went to a few stores. We had to order a window for our bathroom. The one in there now is soaked wood with lots of black mold. The mold was tested. It's not the terrible toxic kind but still not good to breath in. Our bathroom is an embarrassment. It needs ventilation. Now we are going to eat my homemade chicken pot pie. My husband is leaving a little later to play tonight. I'm stuck home doing nothing as usual. Ohhhh maybe I can watch a movie. The rental store called and said I have a free rental. They are just trying to generate business.

I just don't understand why with little girls everything has to be so sarn dramatic!!!! She misplaced it! It's not the end of the world. And if her room wasn't so messy, she'd know where she put it. Calgon, take me away!

My daughter's room is horrendous. I hate to tell you, but her room didn't get better with age. She somehow became more of a pig. Drama is so annoying.

LegoMom - a trip to DC sounds great. I've heard the Spy museum is not to be missed. You are given a mission as part of the tour. I'd tell you more, but I'd have to kill you.

DO - It is true that when things get bad on this board, you can go to just about any other forum and realize this place is tame.

Smiley - I avoid Walmart. The people at the one near me are very rude, and that's just the employees.

Amanda - I feel your pain. Somedays I am amazed at my will to not kill my own child.

I had today off. I went to Starbucks and read my book while enjoying a Caramel Macchiato and coffee cake. Then I hit Target to stock up on pull-ups for DD2 (and get new shoes for me for work.) I met my friend who did my nails then we had lunch. I was just thinking what a great day I was having when DH called to tell me about the Luau he went to last night and how he was sitting by the pool watching whales jumping through the water. He's not trying to rub it in, he's just naturally having a better time in Hawaii without kids than I am at home with kids.
