:rotfl2: Thanks for the cyber hug and the respect for my personal virtual space. :lmao:

Here's a story for all of you to enjoy.

I had DD2 in the tub tonight. I had just finished washing her when I went to make her sister get ready to join her. Then I hear DD2 say, "Mommy, get my fart out of the tub." I walk in the bathroom and say "What?" She points to a floater in the tub and says "Get my fart out of the tub." :crazy2: I got her out, stuck her on the toilet (again - she sat there before bath), and cleaned up the nugget. Then I yelled to her sister to start the shower in the other bathroom because this one was shut down for toxic waste. :sad2:

I had just finished giving her the "You need to poopy and potty on the toilet so we can see Mickey" speech. Guess it didn't work.

When I experience floaters its usually spots before my eyes. :rotfl2: I'll take my floaters over your floaters. :lmao: And I have never heard nuggets refered to as toxic waste. :rotfl2: They are usually called chicken.:rotfl: :rotfl2:

I was trying to use language that was less gross than the actual subject. :rotfl2: Though some chicken nuggets I've had should have been labeled toxic waste. :crazy2:

Hi everybody! I appreciate your support regarding work. :goodvibes

Mean Queen - your DD2 is a hoot! You need to put the video cam on her, I bet she's full of America's Funniest Home Videos moments.

DO your job situation sounds much like my DH's (also in manufacturing). Sometimes he's not sure one day to the next what he'll find when he goes in to work.

So amid all the hoopla in our lives right now, we decided it might be kind of fun to take a trip to D.C. at the end of the month. The kids have a week off from school and DH found out last week that he's off that whole week too. Instead of sitting around feeling mopey, we think it would be much more fun to get out and do something. We had originally (last fall) thought of doing this trip during the kids' April vacation, but a)we could be anywhere but here at that point, and b)DH won't necessarily have that week off and I guarantee he won't have any vacation pay left at that point to take the week off. D.C. is a 10-hr. drive from here and once you get there, 99.9% of everything to see is free!!

Well, let's just say the move is getting closer whether we manage to sell the house or not.... We have to have some sort of plan in place. Right now I'm trying to crunch numbers and see how much money we would need to make the move to FL without the benefit of the house sale.

Dang that my dad left that nice big house in NC....:sad2:

:goodvibes Here's to hoping things go the way you want them to. :thumbsup2 But you know once you make a decision to do something and have a plan in place...that's the biggest part of the battle. Once ya'll move and get resettled ya'll can work on getting everything else to fall back into place.::yes:: And I know that ya'll are checking and double checking before you make that initial leap.::yes:: And don't forget the power of Faith. ::yes::

Hi Metro! What's new these days?

Have fun with the groceries, Smileybug!

Happy Friday!

Somebody with some pull needs to convince WebMaster Alex to put our babnana back on the first page. :p

LegoMom - a trip to DC sounds exciting. What all is on the agenda once you get there? Are your boys helping pick out places to see?

Hi Smiley. :) Hi CheerMom. :) Hi Metro. :)

Hi all.

Mean Queen, great story. Thanks for the laugh.

LegoMom, where do you plan to stay in DC? Do you have someone your family can stay with.

No kidding, don't you hate having to open the other page just to dig out the babnana?!!.....I'm so used to just plucking him right off that side bar!

We don't have a real plan yet for DC but the kids will be involved in what we see. There is far more to see than we'll have time for, so we need to look at our options and go from there. The Museum of Natural History is a must. I also think they'd like the Bureau of Printing and Engraving (money!). I personally would love to see the Museum of the American Indian and the Civil War Museum.

We're looking at a campground outside DC in Maryland. They are open year-round and have cabins available. The cabins have no plumbing but they do have heat and electricity. Hotels down there are $$$$$$ !

Hi Sadie. :)

I was just over on one of the Vegas forums. You think the DIS Community board can get ugly you haven't seen nothin'! Even the mods are mean. :sad2: Someone asked a question about how to post pictures on their blog. I thought it was a good question - I don't know the answer either. The mod got on theircase about how it wasn't brain surgery and not understanding why people can't post their questions in the right forum. It was so mean and nasty I don't know if I want to go over there anymore.
:worried:
