I love them. We had been putting our out of season clothes in those big Ziploc bags in the attic. We put 15 Ziplocs worth of clothes into 3 Space bags--it gave us a lot more space in the attic.

We'll need to conserve space better for our next trip (whenever that will be). I think the Space bags will be the best route.

Another thing that we did, is that we only pcked enough "vacation clothing"
(Cargo shorts and hawaiian shirts for me, capri and tops for DW) and we scheduled a "down" day in the middle of vacation, did our laundry! (it took us about two hours, plus I went to the snack bar and got some good coffee and read a paper! )

lowered stress about packing enough to last the ENTIRE vacation. (plus the airlines are charging outragious fees for bags!)

Darn CM was difficult about me switching our plans! She really wanted me to stay at the Poly :rotfl: I did too but i'm saving so much more at Pop!

LegoMom, I hope your weekend is better than your Friday. I could use one of those Ignore Buttons too.

Grumpy Pirate and Creativeamanda, these space bags sound great.

Anna, I wouldn't stay at Poly either. Not that I don't want to, but it's way too much for our budget.

The space bags are great. A word of warning. We found out the hard way that the "knock off" bags (non-space brand) don't last as long. I still have some of the first space bags DW got me in 1994/1995, and no problem.

Some of the newer, cheper, "off" brand lost their seal after a few trips, now they are nothing more than a plastic bag.

Yeah, it's a nice resort but I can always visit. I'm thinking we'll stop over there for breakfast and for the fireworks one night. (I hope you're allowed to watch the fireworks from there even if you aren't staying there)

I'm saving about 1200 by staying at Pop which means I can spend more on food! I'm really excited to try some new restaraunts. This is my only time off for a whole year so I have to make it last!

The few nights that we were at the hotel for the fireworks, we noticed that a crowd forms along the lagoon and out on the point. Yes, anyone can watch the fireworks from there!

They have outdoor speakers that have the music from the show playing.

If you go to the Oahana Dinner at that time, the lower the lights and play the music in the restaurant.

it is a great place!!!

Mmmm Pina Colavas!!

Hi Ya'll!! I'm another one with a..... phewwww...LONG DAY. But I get to kick back and injoy the rest of the evening. And hopefully get to chat some with ya'll.:goodvibes

Glad to hear it :thumbsup2 I'm trying to relax but my cat's are feeling free to just walk all over me. They are so needy! :rotfl:

Hi Smileybug!! I'm around this evening too! I want to do some scrapbooking but the table is right next to my 'puter so I can bounce between the two.

I've gotta get me a wi-fi for my laptop....this kicking back on the couch to DIS sounds like a dream!

One of mine will jump up on my computer desk and drape himself across my right arm so I can barely move the mouse! They know how to get you where they want you, huh?!!

My friend will do her homework on the floor and her cat will come over and lay on her book.

Oh my gosh I got into the Disney college program! I'll be moving to Florida in January!!!

That would be my fault. It seems that everytime I spell banana I always added that extra b. (and I don't always know when to stop with the na's.) Anyway I was telling everyone here about my problem one day....and they just took it and ran with it. (or danced with it?:confused3 ) After all....friends don't let friends add an extra b all by themselves. :rotfl:

Oh i see...them friends I tell ya...can't live with them and can't live without them cause then you'll just die of boredum...:rotfl: Anyways, ya that darn banana word, i'm getting myself confused:confused3 i think of the gwen stefani song but when I did that I noticed it was still wrong...:rotfl2: so that doesn't help sorry

Thanks! :goodvibes Now I feel like my whole life isn't up in the air! :rotfl:

I sure know THAT feeling!! We've had a brief respite from "limbo" for the last 6 months or so, but are about to dive right back in after the first of the year. We're putting our house on the market, and THAT, my friend, is nothing but a big ol' carpy waiting game....:headache:

But we're moving to Florida ourselves when it does sell!!
