[Mean Queen]

Well, now it is official. I got my old job back. I will probably start after the cruise. It's part-time, 6 hours for 4 days a week. This will hopefully work out great.

We waited 2 hours to vote. My oldest son who lives in a different area waited 3 hours. But you gotta do what you gotta do.

Wow--2 hours? Like I said, I waited five minutes only because they could not find that man in front of me in the book. When dh went later, he did not wait at all. We are talking about letting the kids stay up late tonight to see the whole frenzy. I'll just be ready for it all to be over. Not that it will stop all of the arguing on the community board. Both sides are trying to call foul right now before the votes are even counted.

Wow--2 hours? Like I said, I waited five minutes only because they could not find that man in front of me in the book. When dh went later, he did not wait at all. We had no school. I think they use a lot of schools as polling sites, so a big election=no school. Not that I'm complaining. It meant no work for me today.

eta: What do ya'll think of my avatar? I took that picture, too on my camera last week. Last week about this time to be exact.

Me too!! I'm exhausted but I won't be able to resist turning on the tv and watching the results roll in.

Great - thanks for asking. I just noticed your ticker. So you and hubby are taking a solo trip to Disney? That's great!

We are taking a solo trip to Florida, IF we haven't moved there by then!! And I say that only half-jokingly. Things are getting tough around here.

However, if we do take the trip, it'll be a trip primarily to visit my dad, but we will take a day and drive up to one of the parks! We haven't had a weekend away alone in over a year and a half...

I had to play around a lot with photobucket to get it. I also did something with the edges effect in photobucket. That picture, the picture of the castle in my siggy and the picture of the beach at GF in my siggy are my favorites I took.

We had school. I waited maybe 10 minutes because I had the same person in line in front of me that you did. DH said the line was huge at 7 when he drove by, but he had no wait when he went later at lunch.
