You ladies wanna know something really interesting? I've never been one to use the ignore feature on any message board. Until this week. You want to know irony? Me, a professed conservative, has three people on ignore. Two of them are far right conservatives. What on earth does that say about me? Maybe there's too much mudslinging going on on my side of the camp?

We had friends over yesterday and once the conversation turned to politics (NOT of my doing, mind you... )....well I have never seen my friend SO worked up over anything in life!! Kinda scary.... (esp. since I don't share her views!... )

I can't even see their posts. I should know better than to open the Community Board, but every once in a while I do it. I have to keep reminding myself that regardless of what happens in the election, God is in control.

Any who, today I can officially say that I am going to Disney NEXT WEEK!

TOTALLY agree with your comment on the election!!! It just amazes me, and maybe my problem is being very a-political (I have a view point but I'm really just not interested in politics at all...), but my in-laws get so worked up over stuff they hear and what will happen if the person they don't want, gets into office. Well you know what?....other than casting your vote, there is nothing you can do about it anyway!! What will be will be. I believe it's all for a purpose, and no point in raising my blood pressure over it!

I haven't been on the main CB page in quite some time. Think I'll keep it that way for now!

I wouldn't be surprised if those are the same two I've considered putting on ignore. I've only put one person so far, I've only seen mudslinging political posts from them. The other I considered, but in non-political threads they aren't so annoying. Now I just ignore anything on the CB that runs the risk of slightly raising my blood pressure.

I have a candidate that I favor but I actually would be pretty happy with either candidate. They're both qualified but in different areas. The only problem I have is with the VP. But oh well, I can't have everything right?

I feel the same way. I would love to have a real discussion. It doesn't matter to me if your view is different from mine. I just enjoy hearing different points. It gives me new perspective on things. Why do so many on here find that to be so difficult?
