Wow, that's a lot in a day. I would be exhausted too.
:woohoo: To a paid off trip and a successful savings plan.

"rough run recently" no, I'm beginning to think it's just my life. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I would not be able to pack that far in advance. We don't have enough clothes.:upsidedow

Oh and just got off the phone with my mother, which is usually stressful. FYI: A mother does not need to constantly hear about how her teenager could die driving a car. I made the mistake of telling her my daughter was driving to her friends house. I told her that I am fully aware and I don't need her to keep telling me how my daughter can die. Accidents happen, you can't prevent them from driving forever. It's hard enough for me with all the car accident deaths in my family. I am already uncomfortable enough. Every time I mention she has the car, I have to hear about how she could die. SHUT UP! Phew, had to get that off my chest.

   Sorry about your mom's reactions. I could fall in the shower and bump my head hard and die, too. But I promise, it won't keep me from showering. ;)

The only reason we have enough clothes to pack that far in advance is because of all the hand-me-downs family gives us for the kids. Dan and I will be the last I pack for. :rotfl:

Sounds like you have had a BIG day. Was the sale ot Old Navy worth it? I thought about it. But that's as far as I got. Just thinking. :)

Anytime you can get 6 paird of jeans for the price of 2 it's worth it. Dh and I both went, so I had 3 pairs and one ATM card, while he had another 3. In all of our searching and trials, the only jeans made tall enough and skinny enough for ds are Old Navy jeans (even with an adjustable waist.) So sure, a 2 hour wait was worth paying $7/pair!

I would say it was worth it!! :thumbsup2

I did call the manager to complain about the lines (people were not being directed), but also gave a suggestion as to how this could be corrected. I think they appreciated it--they told me I'd have a 50% off coupon the next time I came in.

Wow!! What an added bonus. :thumbsup2

.........Legomom: Are you packing yet? I am afraid to admit it. . .I determined a long time ago, I was going to pack one person a week starting at exactly 2 months out. That would give me 5 weeks to pack one person at a time, 2 weeks to pick up things I might have forgotten and recheck everyone the last week. Smileybug was kind enough to relate to me that that date is tomorrow. Am I a great planner or am I anal retentive? (Or maybe both. . .):rotfl: :confused3

Wow, that's quite a packing strategy! No, I still haven't actually put anything into a suitcase. I do have the suitcases in the spare room, though! Mostly I'm not packing yet because there isn't much extra room to lay them out. Right now they're standing up in a corner.

I will probably start putting stuff into the carry-on over the next few days, though....

Since we only have 2 weeks to go!!!

I'm sure your family will appreciate you continuing to shower. ;)

I used to love when my kids were little and someone would give me a nice bag of clothes for them. :thumbsup2 That sure did help.

Thanks to you I remembered this sale. I had a $25 gift card so I ordered 2 pairs of jeans and a shirt. I paid only $12.

Good morning, fellow babnanas! I'm still in a great mood and guess what?!? In exactly two months from today, I will be packing the car, taking the kids to see HSM3, and then driving the 7 hour ride to WDW!!!!

Wow!! What an added bonus. :thumbsup2

Yes. Being nice and offering good solutions goes a long way. I've said before that when people complain, if they just do it calmly without getting irate, they get farther. The store manager and I had a great talk last night.

Good luck with the packing! I just get so excited, I have to do something. And I have to be in control of everything. :lmao: :lmao: I'm not able to relax until the details are in line. I'm OCD and I know it, but it's the only thing that keeps the family on time for anything!

My bil and sil are forever sending 3-4 of those Ziploc big bags to the girls. They send lots of t-shirts that are appropriate for boys and girls, so those I distribute out evenly. For school this year, we had to buy jeans for ds, shoes for everyone, and one outfit for the first day of school. It really helps us out. They always ask if I'm offended when they send the kids stuff, but why should I be? Their daughter may wear those clothes 4-5 times before she is finished with them. When we are finished, we pass them on to another family. Since they are Annual Pass holders and Florida residents, there are always a lot of Disney shirts, pants, and pajamas! :cool1:

:cool1: Glad you saved so much and glad I could help. :thumbsup2

Boy, creativeamanda you are on a roll. :thumbsup2

I have to get it all in on the weekends, because as you notice, I don't have a slowdown during the day at wokr until the school year settles some. Then I'll pop in from time to time during office hours in the afternoon. It's 2 months out, Smileybug! I'll be organizing some tonight

I know what you mean about the happy thoughts. My logic anyway is Happy thoughts = Happy Karma. :confused3 Who knows...right/wrong or loosing my mind. But it seems to work for me.:rotfl:

You really plan ahead! I'm sure it will all pay off in just a short two months.

I wondered what happened to you! I hope your week goes better and you can stop by more often. I'm always on the lookout now at the parks for LGMS's and I never see any. I've noticed people wearing lime green, but that could just be there way of finding each other. So I don't embarass myself by saying anything to them. Can you imagine? "Hi, I'm Mean Queen, are you Momsof2boys or Smileybug?" :rotfl2:

And that's why you named yourself Smileybug. :cutie:

I was up late last night making my cruise reservations. Apparently, the website is wacky. I logged on and it told me I couldn't make my reservations because I still owed and needed to pay. Though my balance was zero! Other people in the Travelling Turkeys group were also having problems. My friend managed to get our Palo's time but I had to get on to get Flounder's at the same time. Finally, at about 12:30 I was able to log in and it recognized that I had paid. I got Flounder's for the time my friend got Palo's, a couples massage with Flounder time for one day at sea, and some extra Flounder time just in case we do anything else on Thanksgiving.

Please don't feel like you can't say what's on your mind b/c you have to bring only happy thoughts. I know I feel better letting it out. I hope I am not irritating or depressing you guys when I have to get something off my chest. I"d rather be me than pretend everything is always A-OK. Sometimes I go through streaks of bad luck. If I waited till that was over, you may not hear from me much.:rotfl2:

The hole in my foot feels much better today. I am so glad I didn't have to make a trip to the emergency room yesterday.
