Ekskooz me while I untie my tung.... :rotfl:

I've seen Moms on another thread.....can't remember which at the moment! And Tink's been around on the Fabby LapuLapuette's thread as well as my PTR, but she's getting ready not only for her trip, but moving as well! So she's busy busy busy with packing of both kinds.

.

Tell tink to come back when she gets settled.

Speaking of Disney trips (being on a Disney board and all), I make my reservations at midnight for my Thanksgiving cruise. I have to book my spa time, excursions, Palo's and Flounder's nursery.

How exciting!! So with cruises the bookings are 90 days out?

That sounds all kinds of nice right about now!! A friend of ours took a Disney cruise this past spring, just her and her sisters. She was showing me her pictures and telling us all about the food and the spas and the rec activities and on and on.....no lack of things to do I guess! I'd like to do that someday....maybe our 20th anniversary! :lovestruc

SadieDog I love your avatar!!! You're off to a good start! :thumbsup2

.

THANK YOU :goodvibes

Why am I still sitting on the computer? I have not even showered yet. My husband is still sleeping b/c he played last night. I am the only one up. Even the dogs went back to bed after eating.

For Castaway Club members, in other words anyone who has sailed DCL before. Otherwise it's 75 (I think.) If you have a suite/concierge, it's 105. I am very limited in what we can do since we have a 2 year old. She's too young for the kids club and too young to do most of the excursions. But she's now too old to just go with the flow. She's going to see what she's missing out on. And I've come to the realization that she will not be potty trained enough to use the pool on the ship. She won't even sit on it anymore.

Potty training..... :sad2: I don't know if it was right or wrong. But I just waited until mine let me know. And they trained fast. Every child/family is so different. There is still time. Hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised. :goodvibes

I'm not pushing it. But she had an interest early, then lost it. I was just hopeful it would be done in time for the cruise.

Good morning, ladies. At least I think we're all ladies now. Have you all seen Master Gracey around here lately?

I can't sleep. Imagine that.

Had some dental work done today - deep cleaning and two extractions. Ouch. I opted to have both sides of the mouth done at once so I was in the dental chair for five hours. :scared1: I am in pain but can control it with meds. My biggest problem is hunger. All I've had to eat since yesterday morning is a cup of yogurt. I tried eating soup but can't eat anything hot and canned soup is gross when it's luke warm. Although it was a rice soup with veggies it was still too hard on my teeth. I'm starving! I don't want to keep taking pain meds on an empty stomach.

I see that the TF has been bestowing more scrollies. Awesome! Hey Tag Fairy - could you fix my splat please? I can't see it.

School starts for me Monday and for the kids on Wednedsay. :woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3:   :cool1:

So yesterday I went out my front door, took a few steps and stepped on a large rusty spike sticking out of the ground.:headache: Luckily I was walking slowly and it didn't go in far. Far enough to make it bleed though. Dug a little and discovered it was attatched to cement in the ground from an old deck. My husband got the spike out. Very lucky one of the dogs didn't step on it while running. That would have been a painful and expensive trip to the vet or emergency hospital if after hours.

Now I have a hole in my left foot just under the big toe where it bends. Hurts to walk. I think I will go wash it out again, put some ointment on it and try a bandaid. I wonder when my last tetanus shot was?

Ouch....and yes, when was your last tetanus shot?

I wondered the same thing!

That's good to hear. I hope your foot heals quick.

I just got back from my mom's night out. Two of my friends and I got pedicures then went to the Melting Pot for dinner. I'm full and my feet feel soft.

Hopefully by tomorrow it won't hurt as much to walk on.

Oh that sounds nice. My feet are not a pretty sight. I have never heard of Melting Pot, but just going out to dinner sounds great.

Hello, and good Saturday night, ladies! It's been an exciting day here: I was up at 2:00am (yes, 2am), and we left for Old Navy this morning to buy blue jeans for ds at 7:30. Went out for breakfast. Drove to Fayetteville. We waited in line at the Fayetteville, NC Old Navy for 2 hours :scared1: to be checked out. I knew I should have driven to Myrtle Beach.

Then, we went to JCPenney, the Disney Store (of course), Starbuck's :lovestruc , to the salon to get all of the kid's hair cut, then to WalMart and finally to a birthday party. I'm exhausted. But I wasn't so exhausted that I could not pay off our Disney trip. :dance3: I am proud to say, no part of this trip was put on a credit card. I saved the descretionary money I get each month for 7 months, and added in the truck payment once we paid it off in May to finally be able to pay off the trip this afternoon!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

DeterminedOne: I still see your splat. I have nothing to offer you about your dental work except this:  Hope you feel better soon.
Smileybug: I am in NC and we are getting no rain (I work in the PeeDee of SC, though)
SadieDog: Sorry about your foot. Ouch! You've had a rough run recently, haven't you?
MeanQueen: Congrats on getting to book at midnight for the cruise. Thanksgiving ought to be amazing! It was our first choice for WDW. Are you going to do the Land/Sea package?
PAMom: Glad to see you are excited about being back. I wasn't, but then again, I worked every week this summer except the week I was at the beach and the week of the 4th.
Legomom: Are you packing yet? I am afraid to admit it. . .I determined a long time ago, I was going to pack one person a week starting at exactly 2 months out. That would give me 5 weeks to pack one person at a time, 2 weeks to pick up things I might have forgotten and recheck everyone the last week. Smileybug was kind enough to relate to me that that date is tomorrow. Am I a great planner or am I anal retentive? (Or maybe both. . .):rotfl: :confused3

Wow, that's a lot in a day. I would be exhausted too.
:woohoo: To a paid off trip and a successful savings plan.

"rough run recently" no, I'm beginning to think it's just my life. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I would not be able to pack that far in advance. We don't have enough clothes.:upsidedow

Oh and just got off the phone with my mother, which is usually stressful. FYI: A mother does not need to constantly hear about how her teenager could die driving a car. I made the mistake of telling her my daughter was driving to her friends house. I told her that I am fully aware and I don't need her to keep telling me how my daughter can die. Accidents happen, you can't prevent them from driving forever. It's hard enough for me with all the car accident deaths in my family. I am already uncomfortable enough. Every time I mention she has the car, I have to hear about how she could die. SHUT UP! Phew, had to get that off my chest.
