ya know, I gotta admire an actor that takes on a role that is not only gonna make him famous, but typecast him and lower the odds of him being in any other commercials or movies!

Looks like I'm the first one up this morning. Although, I do have an unfair advantage considering my 3rd shift schedule. Well, I don't have any uplifting good morning messages or cute little smilies so I guess you will just have to wait on SmileyBug for that.

Update - had my first preop appt yesterday. They took the stitches out and now instead of an ace bandage I'm in a lovely surgical bra. Doc says I'm doing progressing just fine. I don't think my coworkers have noticed a thing ... unless they're just whispering behind my back.

Your preop report sounds great!! I guess those peas worked. Maybe your coworkers just don't know how to approach you. But more than likely they are just incredible jealous.

I was rather wondering the same thing myself.... Funny how we all get up, in our own little corner of the world, and come spend some time together on this thread!

I have to get going here pretty soon, though. Need to do some errands this morning, and pick up a little bit of food. We've been eating down the inventory, so to speak, to try to make sure there's not much left that will spoil. But the pantry is bare and my boys are likely to mutiny if I don't pick up some snacks of some kind!!

Why are we all up so early? I've been up since 5:00am.

My DH is out of town for a football game. So I'm the only one to get up with the little one. 2 year olds don't realize you are supposed to sleep in on weekends.

We're going to a picnic today (at Lake Seminole Park - LegoMom!). But I have some time before we have to leave. So I'm here for a bit.

OMG!....I am SO envious!!!! I love that park.... I was so hoping to get to go to my dad's over Thanksgiving but airfare is just too high right now (even flying "off" days). I was looking forward to being there for a few days and just enjoying Florida, rather than doing tourist stuff.

I hope ya'll have a great day!! We are in the process of finally getting our garage organized. So I guess that will be in the order of business today. That and the electician is coming back to finish up some things with the generator hookup. Then we have to do some sheetrock repair to the wall where the hookup was installed.

I'd like the park more if it wasn't the one where an alligator chased me as a kid. But it isn't alligator mating season and I plan on keeping my girls away from the lake. Normally, I don't worry about alligators, but I do get flashbacks at that park.
