Just in case anyone wants to know. My birthday is coming at the end of September. Not only was Disney World started just a few days after my birth, they now hold the Food and Wine Fest each year starting around my birthday weekend.

On another note, is the Dis doing weird things with posting replies this weekend? No matter what, it sends me quoting. The 28th. While many hated the castle when it was done up for the 25th anniversary, I loved it. It was my own personal 25th birthday castle cake, minus the calories. Now to think that was almost 12 years ago is scary.

I slept until 9:00 this morning!! That has been our pattern this summer so we have rarely made church. They back up the service to 9:30 in the summer, and since we'd have to leave at 9:00, waking up then just doesn't work. But DH has been SO tired from all the overtime (and apparently I'm tired too.... ).

Our contractor is coming today to put the stove pipe up through the roof! Sadly I know when we get back from our trip, it'll be time to take the chill off at night....

Speaking of our trip, I'm sure all eyes are on Gustav these days. Doesn't effect Disney, of course, but I just feel so badly for all the people in Louisiana. What are the odds?!! New Orleans doesn't look like a direct hit right now, but it does fall in that northeast-quadrant which carries the hightest winds and the worst storm-surge. LOTS of prayers going out for those folks.

TS Hanna appears headed up the coast, rather than across Florida. And either way, she should be a non-issue by a week from Monday. On the Nat'l Hurricane web site, there are two other "formations" out in the Atlantic. One is mid-way but is given a low chance of developing into a tropical system. Another just rolled off Africa and is given a high probability of forming into a tropical system....

Well, as long as I can GET to Disney next Monday....!! Being delayed coming back wouldn't be so bad!

Morning all! We were thinking about going to WDW today but it looks like the bands from Gustav will be delivering lots of rain on and off for the next few days. I'm very worried for all those people in the cone of this storm. It's going to be a bad one. It's expected to be a Cat 4 when it hits.
