Crapp-- I mean Happy Monday y'all.....! Yeah, happy. Or not.:headache:

Camp has officially started here. First full-week group arrived last night. DH worked all weekend despite supposedly being "off," because there was just too darn much left to do before last night. And yet, the three summer staff guys were all given the entire weekend off and they went home. What's wrong with this picture??! And DH is out there working again today. IMHO he should have been given today off. As you can tell I'm a little steamed over this. I had to work this weekend as well. Took me 5 hours yesterday to do the "last minute" cleaning in the buildings that had already been cleaned, and were used this weekend by groups that I didn't even know about!!! Ugh.....the lack of communication around here is really starting to irritate me. We're coming up on having been here for one full year and I think some things need discussing, at least.

Well, there....sorry about the vent!! It's just not a good Monday here for me. At all.

Oh, and for those of you following my TR.....I make no promises on that anymore...I just do not have time to write a TR, or even read a TR.....so if I seem to disappear from those I've been following, please don't take it personally!! :flower3: I may just wrap mine up with a bunch of photos and some commentary. At this point I feel like it's just hanging over my head and another thing on my already-full "to do" list. Hope you understand!

Well speaking of that "to do" list I really need to get at it!

.

You know I was going to multiquote you and such, but really all you need are lots of these:

:hug::grouphug::hug::grouphug::hug::grouphug::hug::grouphug::hug:

Shall I send you another box? ;)

Y'know, the first box is still sitting here on my desk......and it still makes me smile.:cloud9:

Thanks for the hugs!

I cleaned out my closet!

:banana::banana::banana:

Those aren't just dancing babnanas, those are dancing cleaning babnanas! My closet was in desperate need of an overhaul, and now you can actually see everything in it, as opposed to the disaster it was before.

I'm looking forward to when I can actually get rid of the maternity and larger sized clothes as I lose weight after the baby's born. I'll have so much more room then!

And yes, as one of my girlfriends so graciously pointed out, I am nesting.

Oh, I got a fantastic deal today on a car seat for the baby. I did my research and found that Walmart was the cheapest site, but get this. In addition to the car seat, they were offering a free $10 e gift card with purchase. So I bought the seat, had it shipped site to store, and got the gift card. Then I went and bought the additional base at $10 off, and got another free gift card. Which I then used to purchase the changing pad, which only came to about $10. AWESOME! My mom would be so proud, she loved a good bargain.

And what does little man's car seat look like, pray tell?

They don't make a Jack Sparrow one. ;)

OMGosh~ this is so awesome,,,, I am seriously considering having another kid just so I can get this car seat.!! I love IT.

Ahhhh! it's a monday.. and I should be workin' I just wanted to say hello. I've got too many jobs on the calendar for the month of July, it's gonna get in the way of my disney planning. How dare they give me work!! Oh well.. I guess I have to pay for my disney adiction somehow. so, off to work I go. My co-workers said they are going to make a sash for me that says Ms July since everything scheduled in July is one of my jobs. I need to delegate or something...
Well.. my son's nose is getting better, now it's not so swollen, and turning that yellow color when a bruise starts to fade. Hopefully he wont have a scar. But... we finished the wall with no more injuries.
Anyone else gonna go see TS 3 on Friday?? I can't wait. but damn, why do movies cost $9.50 now? I promised the kids.. but It would be way cheaper to buy the movie after it comes out... which probably wont be until christmas time.. (i'm guessing)... what do movies cost in your neck of the woods? :3dglasses Matinees are less, but we never make it in time. My kids want to invite their friends to come too, and usually when my kids go with their friends to a movie, the other parent pays for the movie, even though I send them with money... so if they want to bring a friend we should reciprocate.. oh man, that's a mini fortune... I never know what to do about that... my DD's best friends are only children, so when their parents pick up an extra ticket it's different, that having a family of 6, plus a few friends tag along. why am I stressing over this.. ?? I gotta get back to work. have a great Monday!

For 2-D, non-matinees: $10.75
For 3-D, non-matinees: $14.75

Where do you LIVE woman??!!....wait, that's rhetorical...I know where you live. But seriously, really??? Wow.

I think the last time we went (which would have been Alice in Wonderland, so not too long ago) we went at night, saw the 3-D, and paid around $8/adult and $6.50/kid. Matinees are around $5/person I think. Our favorite time to see a movie is like a 9pm Sunday showing....usually pretty quiet.

daisyyy, I totally get the "small fortune" bit with going to the movies. We're a family of 5. The few times we've taken a kid's friend along, we paid and we went to the matinee! And that was for someone's birthday, so it was a special occasion and what they requested to do. Normally we wait for something to come out on DVD, too. But for the "biggies" we'll splurge and see it in the theater (Alice, Toy Story 3, Narnia, etc..).

.

The sad thing is, that the prices are comparable to what I pay here. Most of you have been near where I live. There's no reason for it. Unemployment here is 23%. No one can afford the movies.

Ok.. my co-worker just left a entertainment mag on my desk, and funny thing is, one of the articles talks about summer movies being "down" by 19% from last year 2010 is the worst memorial day box office in 9 years, .. I don't think it's necessarily the movies, as much as the fact that people are being more choosy about which movie will get their money.. instead of seeing all of the movies in the theater, why not wait to rent it, or only see it if it gets really good reviews. Other than waiting for toy story to come out this week, I don't think we'll see anything else in the theater. My middle DS wants to see Karate kid too though. So.. maybe DH can take him for that.

Ok random thought... Not that anything on this thread isn't random ( ;) ) but... Has anyone ever been tagged because of what they said on one the many editions of this thread? Just wondering... Since that, I'm guessing, was the original purpose of the parent thread of this that we have in front of us...

Also just wondering if you think it's better to have a tag given to you by surprise or to ask for one... I saw that at the start of the year the TB must have had a time when you could request tags... I personally think that takes the fun out of it. But that's just me. :)

When I finally got tagged, it was a bunch at one time over many threads I had posted in. It was like the tag fairy found one thing I said, then hunted down others to go with it. There was another tag that got knocked out by my scrolling.

LegoMom - that's the reason I don't do trip reports, I never would finish them. I still never finished telling all of you about the Wishes dessert buffet. :sad2:

Good morning. I will have to catch up on reading later.

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

Delegation is key, my friend!

Glad to hear he's doing better.

Don't stress over the movies, my dear! I think around here it's about 7.50 - 8.00 for a matinee...I don't even look at nighttime prices because I can't fathom it. :lmao:

OUCH!

That's terrible.

Morning, Smiley!

Good morning, babnanas!

Super nauseous pregnant woman, reporting for duty! :rotfl2:

I don't know what it is lately, but I think everything's getting really cramped in there, and I'm starting to feel less than stellar. I slept a fair amount last night (minus the bathroom breaks every couple of hours LOL), but right now, I feel like I could go back to bed. I actually took a nap yesterday, I was so tired!

I just keep thinking, if I can make it until the end of June at work, at least that will give me (hopefully) three months at home with the baby. My FMLA leave can be up to sixteen weeks, so I'm very pleased with that, and I'm really trying to get most of it to be after he's born. I'm just finally starting to feel exhausted, so hopefully I can make it a little bit longer.

I can't remember if I've mentioned it, but I've got my twice weekly non-stress tests scheduled from now until my due date, so that's good. My first will be tomorrow at the hospital.

We've been having dinner with my dad and nana (my mom's mom) once a week since my mom passed, and that's tonight, so it'll be nice to have some family time to look forward to. And my dad watches my son for me today (every Tuesday) so that's nice for them to have some bonding time, too. :goodvibes
