Mean Queen, this is a Friday that I wish I could still meet you for coffee! I'm too dang excited for my own good....Plus, a Starbucks would taste REALLY good right about now!

My a/c went out. Just when we start needing it again, the compressor locks up and shorts out the capacitor. Luckily, the unit is under warranty so we get an $900 bill instead of a $1900 one.

My MIL, who does not know about my little solo trip, sent me a Mother's Day card, and this is what it says:

(front) "Hope every little thing about your Mother's Day..."

(inside)"...adds up to one great big happy day!"


She has NO idea how TRUE and appropriate that card is!! I'll send some extra thoughts her way as I'm riding the WEDway (her favorite ride).
