I agree.. but maybe in your case has something to do with being pregnant. That's not my problem though,,, been there, done that, no more for me... I'm at my limit. Maybe it's the 4 kids.. I suppose staying up late checking out the boards doesn't help either.

I'm off to work today, my first Tuesday. I had to rearrange my schedule to work Tues, then Thurs - Sat. My dad will be watching my DS, so I'm really happy about that. It'll be good for both of them.

Four! My husband is one of four, and let me tell you, it makes for very interesting holidays, especially now that three, himself included, all have kids.

I'm actually tickled to think of our next holiday. There will be six children between us all after my baby is born in July, and my SIL has another in October!


I did say I'm all about the chaos. But.. you're right, the holidays are mad. Wouldn't change it for anything. We love having everyone at our house, it's easier than packing us up to go out... plus I think the relatives are afraid of the aftermath or the potential damage, we're just used to it.

Actually, I feel the same way today! I got an unusual amount of sleep last night, and I feel exhausted. I think it's the body's way of evening itself out.

Thank you. Actually, my sister and I had that quote put on the prayer cards for the visiting hours at the funeral home. It's funny, because a lot of people don't read the prayer card, so we got a lot of comments about it afterwards.

My mother sent that quote to both us in an e-mail forward several times, and we just feel that's how she lived life. Even though she was impeccably dressed and just beautiful (so the used up thing doesn't always ring true for me), we really felt that expressed her vibrant spirit and desire to live.

BF, a.k.a. Mr. I Don't Care for Disney, has agreed to give it a shot and is, GASP, excited about going!

I'm on the look-out for pigs sprouting wings. But, am very excited and very thankful. Disney is a place deep in my heart (as it is for many of us) and it's always been very important to me that I get to share it with him once. He's got some difficult memories from a couple of days spent there, so it means so much that he'll look past those and visit it "MY" way. My Prince Charming...when he's not being Beast.

So, although the countdown in my ticker has been there for a while, now it's really real! Such a great start to a Wednesday.

I love that feeling when you first book it, and you have something to look forward to. My DH is like that.. not that he doesn't have a good time when he gets there, but he always gives me a hard time about going, and saying there are other places to go. I'm like.. are you kidding. go anyplace else... go with someone else (so he did w/ my DB fishing in SDakota)... I'm going to Disney. .
