Morning, nanners!
Well, even though I'm home on maternity leave, DH and I are still bringing DS to preschool two days a week. I didn't want to completely disturb his routine, plus we'll see how he feels about it as well. He's got some great little friends there, but because it's in a neighboring town, he won't be going to school with them in the fall, so I hesitate to yank him out. They need two weeks notice anyway, so my biggest dilemma has really been how long to continue. I was thinking maybe halfway through August, just to give him a couple of weeks off before school starts in September.
Anyway, I have some time to myself today! So I'm going to head over to
Walmart and pick out something for the baby to give DS after he's born. I've read about that idea and really like it, something to make my DS feel special amidst all the attention new baby will be getting.
The cutest thing lately is that DS will come running up, hug and kiss my belly, and then tell his brother, I hope you come out soon.
Me too, kid.
I had an ultrasound yesterday, and they're estimating his weight at 6 lbs 9 oz, but his head is so low and wasn't turned in the right position, so it was difficult to get a good measurement on it. I wouldn't be surprised if he's bigger.

Anyway, more importantly, everything looks healthy and good, and the non stress test was good. Not working certainly agrees with me. I actually vacuumed for the first time in months and made dinner in the crockpot yesterday. It's amazing what you can use those little bursts of energy for when you don't "have to" be somewhere!
