I am emotionally wiped.

I don't know if I've mentioned it here or not, but I've started seeing a therapist since my mom died, and that's been really helpful.

I had some issues that really needed dealing with tonight, and we worked on some relaxation techniques and although I feel a lot better, I also feel totally drained. In a good way.

I think it's time for a big bowl of ice cream and bed.

Take her in before the downpour starts and she won't be so wet and smelly. :lmao: It's been raining here too so mine are a little wet from going out to go the bathroom. I have my own wet dog smell going on right now. Don't worry about fork-licking. Dogs mouths are cleaner when it comes to bacteria. We humans carry more bacteria in our mouths.

Actually that is a myth. And I guarantee it's false with MY dog....after all I don't go around eating other people's crap!! Just. Nasty.:crazy2: I won't even let her lick me.

I did bring her into the hallway (tile floor) and dried her off a bit. Rain's letting up now (FI.NA.LLY!) so she's on her way back out....

...where she'll rustle up some more poop.....

:lmao:

Is the area you have for her dark and out of the way? They prefer to have their kittens some place quiet and hidden. Otherwise, they may just have the kittens one place then move them to a hidden area when they get the chance. The same cat I mentioned earlier was always pregnant, so I went through many kitty births as a kid.

I got a six sided pet enclosure and took out two panels. In there she has a copier paper box with no lid and part of one side cut out. This all sits in the kitchen which has curtains on the windows. The kitchen light is on only for a hour or so a day. Part of the enclosure is blocked by the microwave stand. So she is pretty much hidden.

Because she doesn't have the brain cells to get herself in out of the rain. I'm talking downpour! She's an outside dog, but there are two doghouses out in the yard, AND an overhang at the end of the house. The dork just sits out there in the middle of the yard, squinting her eyes because the rain is running into them, and every once in a while she gets up and tip-toes around looking SO stinkin' pathetic, tail tucked and like a wet rat. Meanwhile, my chickens have gone into the coop, and the goats have gone into the shed......Yet there sits the dog.

I have no clue how that is possible when we don't lick our own rears.

What on earth am I popping in on?

And of all of the typing in the dark snafus, I originally typed "pooping in on". Too. Late. Too much Lapu Lapu.

I need sleep.

I probably won't pop back in until Monday night. And then it's back to reality with work on Tuesday.

The fact that human mouths carry more bacteria was on the news again the other day. That's what I meant by 'cleaner.'

Is it me or does that little guy look like Turk's long lost relative?

Tile floor is perfect for wet dog. Can be wiped up easily. Mmmmm fresh poop smell smeared onto dog body. They like to roll in dead things too.
