Hi everyone! :banana::banana::banana:

My name is Ingrid and I am tagless.

I am hoping that the tag fairy or tag genie will see my posts lately
(hint, hint ;) ) I have had some quotable posts I think. :lmao: Like the one in the poo smells in the hotel thread. :goodvibes or Like butter for your feet. :thumbsup2

Okay anyways how are ya'll today? :)

Hi Ingrid!:wizard:

:welcome:

I feel like I'm welcoming a new member into a support group, like Tagless Anonymous or something....:lmao:

Oh, and speaking from experience, "poo" can most definitely get you noticed!!....:rotfl2:

Thanks for the welcoming! I feel like I need to be in a support group for not having a tag!

Well let's hope that poo will do it for me!:rotfl:

Thanks to all those who like the quote!

Ingrid, welcome! I've been here quite a while and I'm still tagless. As Edward Cullen says in the first Twilight film, "I hope you enjoy dissappointment." ;) Hopefully, we'll be tagless no more. :thumbsup2

Daisyyy, it's a boy! We're going to name him after my mom. Hard to explain since I don't tell personal info on here, but suffice it to say, we're all very pleased to honor her in this way, and the name, while not unheard of still fits our criteria for less than usual, so that's good.

Kimmar, thank you for being Kimmar. Sometimes your posts just crack me up.

And Tink, congrats! We've chatted about it, but I'll say it again here, I'm super excited for you.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

I have some not so great news. For those of you who don't know, I got put on bed rest during the last three months of my pregnancy with my DS, so I sort of hit this seven month appointment and thought, hmmm, I wonder what will happen.

Well, same song, same dance. Yet again, I have high blood pressure (like last time), and so I was sent for additional blood work, and have to go back to the office on Friday for another blood pressure check.

It's highly possible that I'll get put on bed rest again.

More DIS time! :rotfl2:

I'm not thrilled about it, but number one priority is healthy kiddo, healthy mama, so we need to keep in mind the larger picture here. After having lost my mom the way we did, I'm certainly not going to be taking any risks.

I'll let you know how it all goes and what I find out.

Where else can I dance with emoticons AND good people than here on the Babnana thread...

IT'S OFFICIAL!!! WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

WOOO HOOO!!! :banana::banana::banana:

I had high blood pressure problems with both, so I understand your frustration. I hope things go well this time and you don't get grounded for the next 3 months.

Thanks, hon. It's so funny, too. A lot of people will ask me, since I'm having another boy if we'll be trying for a girl.

Um, no. TK is done. And I mean D-O-N-E, done. If this is how my body reacts at this point in the pregnancy, then I'm just not up for doing it anymore.

Plus, I just found out my SIL is expecting another girl! That means when that baby's born, I'll have four nieces, my two SILs will have two daughters apiece! I'm so excited.

I've never been one to worry about the baby's gender. I believe we're all meant to have what we're meant to have, and as long as they're healthy, that's really all I care about.

That is the perfect attitude.

I think in the end, TK, you probably will need 3 months rest. I'd love a couple months' rest myself, just not the way you're getting it. . .

I think so. ;)

I just get miffed sometime with people that assume you must want more because you didn't end up with both genders. Silly, really.

I won't be surprised if I get put on bed rest. And if that's the best thing for me, and it's meant to be, then I accept it, you know? What else can I do?

...

Ok, really??!....this little guy isn't even here yet and already you're being asked this question?!!

As you know, I ended up with three boys. This thrilled me because I wanted boys and - *gasp!* - never wanted any girls!!! You wouldn't believe how many people just couldn't wrap their brains around that one.... I got the "are you going to try for a girl?" question more times than I care to remember.:sad2: So, is my life somehow incomplete without both genders??:confused3

....hi-i-i-i-i-i-i, Ingrid.....

Watch out for that one, Ingrid.....she's tricky.:scared:

....but can you get miffed AND perturbed at the same time?? :scratchin

Yes. Yes you can.

I get asked all the time if I'm going to go for that boy. I tell them I had to have the shop all closed up after the last pregnancy almost killed me. Besides, I don't want a third, I'd probably just end up with another girl and I never really wanted a boy. :confused3

...guys, be careful of Shay - she's tryin' to sell her 'Big Mike' buttons here for half-price....:rolleyes1

Hmmmph. You'll be begging for a Big Mike fan when you're sweating to death at Disney.

Tarzanskat.... WHOO HOOO! BED REST!!! I could use about 3 months of bed rest right now... No.. make it 4 months, then that will put me right up to my trip!:woohoo: Most important take care of the little guy. but it just gives you more DIS time... I never cared about the gender either, but everyone assumed once we had the boy we would stop, but we went for one more and ended up with 2 and 2. I also didn't find out the gender until they were born, except the last one, but that was just because I had to go for extra tests and stuff.. all is well, but I was sure when I had the 2 girls, the 3rd would be a girl too... I was surprised he was a boy, but also I was like, I don't know what to do with a boy... I only have girls. I remember a dream I had vividly while I was pregnant with him, that the doctor said it's going to be a boy, now what are you going to do,,, and I was told him, no, check again, it has to be a girl, I don't make boys. Now... I wish I had them 1st.. cause, I don't care what anybody says... Boys are harder... so I wish I was younger when I had them... Sometimes, I feel like I give up, I'm totally outnumbered! well good luck... get that rest. stay off your feet, and drink lots of water esp. when it's hot.
