I had a tough time getting a good pic of the key ring and when I did finally get a better pic my photo transfers aren't working. I'm posting this one - not the best pic since the ring has fingerprints all over it and you can't quite make out my initials, or tell that it's lovely sterling silver, but take my word for it - it's cute!

But I mean really, if I'm going to be the Lego Mom, I ought to have the appropriate accessories to go with the image!

I have a question and hope that maybe someone here can either answer my question or point me in the right direction to ask my question. Here it is: I haven't been getting notification of messages - I used to but now for some reason I haven't been able to get them. What happened? What do I need to do to change this? I checked the "instant notifiation" but it still isn't working.

Anyway...

DeterminedOne - love the keychain! So cute!! Yep we'll be watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve tonight. We too grew up watching Dick Clark. I wonder how he's doing? Ryan Seacrest is ok, but he's no Dick Clark!

Hi -I think it has something to do with the new server that went in Saturday night. I've seen a few posts about it, but haven't read into them. Try posting your question on the Tech Support Board or you can look through the related threads here on the CB.

Oh someone in my household would die if that were the case here. I'm a teacher's aide for the school district so I'm going to have a tiny paycheck as it is.

Hey!....whadda ya know, it's snowing again!!





But, for DeterminedOne and anyone else who doesn't get a good whopper of a snowstorm very often, or is down south and wishing it would cool off...

These are for you!

That top one was taken yesterday morning, and that's my poor DH trying to clear a path to the propane tank. The bottom one I just took now, from the den window looking at the front steps.

Other than that I'm taking down the tree and decorations and giving the house a good cleaning.

Apparently there is a problem about the notifications/emails when the new server was done last week. I checked the "tech support" thread and they said they were working on it.

Love the pictures of the snow - thanks for sharing. Not sure if I would like that much snow (unless of course they closed work for me!) They were predicting "snow flurries/showers" this afternoon - but I don't believe it - the sun is shining!

Oh no, it's business as usual, such as that is. Although it started snowing late morning, and the plow just now came by for the first time, at 3:45.... Guess they don't think folks are going out much today, being a holiday.

And it is STILL coming down....


However!.....

DH told me I ought to go ahead and make plans, since a) it keeps me sane during the long cold winter, and b) if we don't book and we're still here anyway, we'll kick ourselves forever for missing it. I'm not a shopper, don't have a closet full of shoes, and generally never spend anything on myself, so he says taking a trip to Disney every other year shouldn't be something we have to second guess. Wow, I love that man...

So, if you'll pardon me, I'm off to read up on my restaurants and start planning ADRs!! ​

Oh my word where ARE you people?!! 23 hours with no new posts!! Oh the horror.

Well it was back to school and work today. All in all we made the adjustment quite well. I was pretty grumpy at 6:00 this morning but got over it in due time.

And I spent much of the morning at work thinking about ADRs and all the must-see attractions that we missed on our last trip, that will be first this time! (for instance, I missed most of AK due to my then-4-yr. old having a meltdown after Festival of the Lion King.... We left the park while everyone else went and rode EE and Kali.... ). SO!....those are top on my list!

Weather continues to be crazy. Tomorrow's "high" is only going to be in the teens, with overnight lows below zero. Then by Sunday we'll be in the mid- to upper-40s!

Well someone else come on in here and post already!!
