Are any of you guys and gals techies - can you tell me why my computer makes so much noise lately? The hard drive makes loud grunting type sounds every time I open a web page, go to the next page, stuff like that. It seems to be working fine but I can't understand why it's so loud all of sudden.

That sounds unpleasent. Im not good at that sort of thing though.

It sounds like your computer may be running a bit slow. Do you have any spyware removal programs on your computer? I always notice my computer works extra hard when a bunch of spyware is hiding in the background. I use the free program "Ad-aware" to search and clean. Google it. I think I downloaded my from C-Net. I also usually run my computers "Scan disk" and "Defragment" programs when it starts to act up. Beyond those basics, you'll have to find a true computer geek.
