I am from Chicago, living in North Carolina right now but we are moving to Florida in January.

I love the weather in North Carolina better than the cold winters in Chicago.

I have family in Chicago. Been once but I was too little to remember. FLorida huh, close to The World? I am about 45 minutes from The Land.

It seems this thread is a good place to chat and maybe earn a tag.
I always wanted one - but I hear if you ask for one - or say things like "where's the tag fairy when you need her" and stuff - you'll never get it.
So I'm just here to say hi! I don't want a tag. Please don't tag me...

Welcome! Everyone seems to get tagged when they least expect it. We all came to this thread looking for a tag and ended up with a group of friends to chat with each day. Eventually, the tags came. I guess we should change the name of the main thread to show we are "Formerly Tagless."

thanks! I liked the job, but towards the end things happened that I was not happy with. But I am really good friends with that boss, so I think I could talk to her and tell her what I really feel before I have to make a decision. She is supposed to call me back, so I will keep you all updated!

Good morning all you happy people! I'm really happy it's Friday because the kids have no school today so we got to sleep in!! (ok everyone say it with me: "woot-woot!" )

My DS-soon-to-be-8 (!) is having a couple of friends over tonight so I have to get ready for that today; clean up the house, make the cake, wrap his gifts...

DeterminedOne, I'm taking my camera when I go out for errands in a bit, so if I see any nice shots I'll take a few for ya!

SmileyBug, did you take the crocs off to go to bed?...

Well my kids are looking for breakfast so I guess maybe I should attend to that instead of DISing....

About an hour from the ocean. 45 minutes from Magic Mountin. 3 hours from San Diego or 3 hours from Las Vegas depending if you go North or South.

No kids here but I have 2 nieces and my boyfriend has like 16 or 17 nieces and nefews (he's one of 9 kids) so theres always kids around. It's better this way. We get to take them fun places and get them all amped up on sugar and then send then home to mom and dad!
