They both ended up in classes with no one that they knew! My DD is in 2nd grade and there are 17 classes, but in all I am happy with their teachers and they seem to like the teachers pretty well.

I guess ask me at Christmas how things are going and I may have a different answer for you!

2 of mine started today. Its nice and quiet here, but I do miss them.

They are doing great so far. Homework has been light this week and they are still wearing new clothes!

Hey everybody! Wow, I can't believe school has begun already - a sure sign that summer is nearly over.

I'm here, but busy working on our house right now so I may not post as often as I'd like for another couple of weeks! Gotta get that "For Sale" sign up because the sooner we sell this place the sooner we can get to Florida!

Did you know that we are doing the same thing. Except we aren't moving to Fl. We are staying locale. I hope your home sells quickly. Since you are moving to Fl. does that mean that ya'll are going to get to see Mickey Mouse more often? Do I see AP passes in your future? I have a sister in Fl. She is about an hour away from Disney World. The only time she goes is when one of us drags her there!

Mean Queen...what a sweet family!! The girls are so cute all dolled up!! Looks like ya'll had so much fun. How did the girls handle the heat in their gowns?

Did dd get special attention from the WDW staff? If I had my brain working properly, I would've told you to take dd to The town hall to get a birthday pin and then a birthday phone call from Mickey (or was it Goofy?). Sorry.

We all live in Florida, so we're used to the heat. I did buy some neck wraps and spray fan bottles for the kids. But once it rained and the sun went down, it cooled down quite a bit. BCV gave DD a pin and she got a sash that said Birthday Princess from BBB but she didn't want to wear them. I told her she'd get a lot more birthday magic that way, but she didn't care.

We didn't do the birthday call, but the resort sent a card from Belle and balloons.

Nice report and pics. Thanks for sharing! All the girls looked so pretty in their gowns and up dos. And I love your pirates scarf - you look so cute!
Too bad you missed the fireworks at MK but it's nice that you could see part of them from the room. Thanks again for sharing!

Hope you all have a great day! We have to exchange some of DD's birthday clothes and maybe get a few more uniforms for school. I know some people love uniforms, but I hate them. I'm buying twice as much clothes this year and I'll have to do twice as much laundry. And I hate laundry.

I have to agree. I really don't mind washing the clothes, it's the putting them away that I can't stand. I swear by Downy Wrinkle Releaser since I often leave my clean clothes in the dryer or basket.

For farmer's market I'll probably make about 3 or 4 loaves of wheat bread, 3 or 4 of white, some Irish Soda bread (raisin and plain!), blueberry coffee cake and raspberry cake (the hot sellers) and a few batches of cookies (this week it's molasses). Most of the time if the weather is good, I'll sell out.

That's so funny... Ours runs July-Sept. because that's when it's WARM!! LOL! When we get down there, I'll whip you up a batch!
