I'm in school groove denial.

dh made the kids get up at 7am today. Me, I got up at...10am I had to feed the baby and I fell back asleep, honest.

I saw this earlier today somewhere and couldn't resist sharing it! Although, I'm not nearly at that point yet....

IF MY BODY WERE A CAR...

If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish

And my paint job is getting a little dull ... But that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close

My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it --

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter. .either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires

They both ended up in classes with no one that they knew! My DD is in 2nd grade and there are 17 classes, but in all I am happy with their teachers and they seem to like the teachers pretty well.

I guess ask me at Christmas how things are going and I may have a different answer for you!

I'm here, I'm here! We just got back from a weekend trip to WDW. We celebrated my DD's 8th bday at the Pirate and Princess Party. That was so much fun! I'll post pics later of her all dolled up from the BBB. Some of her friends and their families went with us, so we had 15 people in our group. We stayed at the Beach Club villas. Our view was great, we saw the Eiffel Tower from our room. That pool is amazing. I'm glad we weren't planning on doing the parks other than the party. We just spent most of the time at Stormalong Bay. I highly recommend it! I'll post more of a trip report later, but we have some serious storms moving in.

Wow! We must have all been too busy to try to be witty today. I've been uploading all my Photopass cards.
